Irrespective of who wins in the US, a US standing as a country on India's side, is itself a threat to us. The US policy is engrained much more deeper than what these republicans and democrats stand for. Linking our hopes on one candidate or the other, would be foolish of us. There is no strategic equation in today's world where the US would support us over India in its aim to rival a belligerent china, whosoever wins there, would only be a face to a brain that wants to see us down.
