Hi,

It is about time that Gen Raheel and P M Nawaz should be shown the door. Both have had their time in the office and have not used it to make a substantial difference in the security of the nation.

The supreme court should dissolve the govt----terminate the general and find another man more suitable for the job.

The general has shown no urgency to tackle the problem---but is moving at a slow pace. The nation is not on thre same page because of immense corruption in the provinces and the corrupt being let go.

The general has lied thru his teeth that the corrupt will pay the price=----but we have been listening to this drama for the last one year now---and no one has been persecuted.

the criminal in chief Zardari was allowed to escape alongwith many others with all their cash.

I believe that the general is a good man---who means good----but does not have the courage and lacks the decisive and incisive power to make things happen.

There is too much docility at the generals staff level of pakistan military.

Last year saw lowest level of terorists activity since 2008. So if you think that a problem that has been there for decades to go away in a year then what can i say about that to you. Look at sirilanka it took them a decade to weed out terorists.

Army response to APS attack was also pathetic..making songs over dead children no matter how motivating is sick and disgusting...a more rational review of armed forces, security situation and above all the national issues leading to terrorism should have been discussed in an open forum...terrorism today is a byproduct of religious mentality which encourages irresponsible reproduction.

What you say is true to most extent but having all that done is in some a parallel universe where everything is in its ideal state.

Problem is not NS, Zardari, their corruption, or PA's lack of interference in politics but the people of Pakistan who have made it a normal routine of having their as$es handed to them on a daily basis. Even worse there are so many people who even after knowing all the crimes of these politicians still literally worship them. I for one have become convinced that either:
1) people have given up and decided to live a life of misery and wait it out until NS term is over in hopes he or Zardari dont come back
2) or they just dont care because bad things havnt crossed their path yet. To them its all happening in a far away world so why bother

General has made it known he is not in favor or Marshal law and he is trying to stay away from politics. But when you say he isnt doing anything is wrong, he might be doing more than this but no way to really know. If as per you he didnt have the courage, Rangers would have been LONG gone from Karachi. I feel there is a secret pact right now b/w the two sharifs where one has said to other not to fck with Karachi op and I feel that is for the time being until more pressure comes to launch op in Punjab against PMLN as well which army is counting on PPP to make a strong case for. Once NS starts to feel the heat he will try to use his "supreme" power to send army back which is where chances of Marshal law grow significantly.

I do agree that op and activities have slowed a bit but no one can but them really know if there is a reason behind it. And taking gambles on next COAS can be a double edged sword. Who knows next one turns out to be the Kayani v. 2?

You are NEVER going to find a perfect general but one who takes the biggest initiative, who in the history of Pakistan has come as close to Gen Raheel? You always have to decide between whats better relatively, you speak as if next COAS is your mamu who will def. do much better job.

I know many pakistanis have a habit of bad mouthing people without knowing facts but please give brain a chance.

I mean common... ten long years are over... still new terrorists and not even a single evidence given to UN, International forums or anywhere. You people create threads about evidence given to US/UK and everybody BUT NOT A SINGLE NATION/ PM/ Foreign Minister has ever said to the media or official statement that India is responsible.

Have you ever wondered why everybody from USA to UK to Russia to Israel to India all are trying to destroy you?

BTW we are not here to send roses . Its upto your agencies and security establishments to stop attacks on Pakistan. Like how we account our IB/ NSA responsible for Pathankot attacks. And no, the 100's of terrorists killed every year in suicide bombings and attacks are not some Hindu Baniyas or Brahmins or Dalits. Every one of them are your so called Jihadists graduating from the very same Madrassahs that used to produce mujahids targetting India.

Whats this "frustration" you talk of? I dont see it anywhere and please dont use pdf and social media as indicators. Anyone with a keyboard and enough time can vent his frustration for hours and be fine the next minute. If people really did give a damn they would have forced govt to take action on its NAP. Where are the hordes of protests demanding answers on the streets? Yes, no where. This is a population which would protest happily for genocides taking place else where in the world but not utter a single word for crimes taking place at own home. Its a country where leaders would mediate between to mad dogs but would refuse to watch each one of its province bleed.

No people are just not serious on this issue, venting anger on fb, pdf, social media is like me screaming at TV on things I dont like. So please lets get real.

I understand your point. But you see, apart from the blaming part, we actually hold our agencies and security establishments responsible for such things. We also try to weed out extremists internally. Look at the maoists.... l;ast year casualties in Maoists attacks have been a mere 50 as compared to more than 1000 in 2008-09. Infact, best example is the NE. You people keep on saying 100's of insurgency and freedom movement in Idnia. Do you know atleast 90% of these groups have declared ceasefire and some like Naga people's front and BPF are actually running governments in accordance with Indian constitution? Infact since 2008 Mumbai attack, India has more or less won this war against terrorists. Even in Pathankot, with all the hoopla around WE ACTUALLY LOST only 7 soldiers and out of those 5 were old veterans having food in a canteen. No destruction of our military assets or civilians.

See.... my point is simple. You people can keep on living in denial and blame RAW, Modi all day long. Has trhat achieved anything? Why not look into your own mess and close down the Madrassas anf the terrorist factories.... including thhose like LeT and JeM who attack India and are active in Kashmir?
