What are you trying to say wise guy? We know our history well. We know how in the pre-islamic bengal the poor common man were oppressed by HINDU kings. We respect all the great muslim
preachers like hazrat Shahazalal who came and freed Bengal from Hindu tyranny. Our ancestors were masmarized by the simple & humble life of the muslim traders from Arabia & turkey. Our ancestors came to know the truth and freed themselves from shackles of hindu tyranny. Our culture is different
from west bengal. And bengal was divided way back in 1905 on the basis of culture & religion. Don't
try to imply that our culture is borrowed from Hindu INDIA.
So, 1st of all, you acknowledge that your ancestors were HINDUS......they converted to Islam due to the severe persecution of people on the basis of caste.
Now, this is absolutely understandable.......in-fact, the only thing appreciable in Islam is that, they don't categorize people on the basis of "caste".
BUT you haven't seen the radical face of Islam.....YET!.....you may thank Sheikh Hasina for that.....
Now, you say that, you don't borrow anything(culture/tradition etc.) from 'HINDU' India.
NOTE: you're not saying just 'INDIA' but 'HINDU' India....which implies that, you don't borrow anything from HINDUS/HINDUISM.
Now let me put it this way:-
You are using a song written by a HINDU(Rabindranath Tagore) as your National Anthem.
You are using a flag, originally designed by a HINDU(Shib Narayan Dash)
AND most importantly, You are using a language that has been derived from Sanskrit by Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar(a HINDU).
He literally developed the language single-handedly with all its grammar......
Language forms the basis of any culture.........
Language is the most important thing by which one culture can be distinguished from another.......different cultures are associated with their own languages........language defines culture.
So, you cannot separate language from culture.
For example, in India....we can count the number of different cultures by the number of different languages only....
Thus, when you are using the language 'BENGALI', you logically can't deny using the culture 'BENGALI'.
AND this culture which you inherited from your ancestors(who were HINDUS) indicate that you are essentially using a HINDU culture
NOW considering that, Islam doesn't recognize any other religion other than itself, you are being HIGHLY UN-ISLAMIC by STILL using a culture which has its roots in HINDUISM.
THIS is what we are stating here.....If you want to shun a Bengali word "NOMOSHKAR" because it has HINDU linkage, then why not SHUN the entire language for the same reason.....
SHUN everything even remotely related to HINDUS/HINDUISM and be a "PURE" MUSALMAN.
