I have dozens of friends from across india...
And
Every day different grps that i am in with them is literred with pictures of protests, police brutality, beatings, posters and news related to the anti CAA or NRC protests..
But
One thing is clear they all have now started voicing ine single mantra.. Nothing is gonna happen to the central government. CAA and NRC is here to stay. The government is least bothered about these protests. The media is in government control... The assemblies are the drawibg rooms of BJP elected members and they can change the laws as per their liking.

Educated and welll off muslim lot will gradually move to canada, Australia or malaysia.. Absolutely true. There are dozen of pics on line where people other than Muslims have joined in to protest. Having said that 2 weeks of solid countrywide protest have led to ...... NOTHING and trust me unless international pressure builds vis - a- vis threats of sanctions from US and EU human rights committee, condemnation by the head of states, etc... until that happens nothing will change.
The BJP's support is hindu based, the sangh, the hardcore Hindus and they would be backing the government to forge ahead with this hindu desh agenda. The recent comments by utar pardesh government, the treatment handed over to the gold medallist students, the reaction by business tycoons clearly shows the government mood. If you think of it unstable india will lead to many small nations and probably lot more prosperous ones in the south. Breaking up india is good for its citizens in long term since indians from one ethnicity dont like other...same with religion.
