I am not sure Turkey will become Pakistan

But it can definitely become Saudi Arabia, if Erdogan Formally declares himself as Calliph of the Otoman Empire

I think Turkey will be able to adress Kurdish problem, just like Pak has been able to control Baloch problem to a large extent.. Turkish forces are skilled enough to tackle tht threat... So nothing like tht is going to happen... InshaAllah

Agree that they might be able to manage to conflict .. However dont u think there is a small Difference and that is Pakistanis have the N bomb turks dont have it which means more or threat of intervention , this will have consequences

There is a malfunction with the ban process. Apparently within some code lines, it allows members receiving ban status still be able to contribute their poisonous posts here. I have seen this type of error occur a lot lately

Turkey is to big and to important to be let to fall to its demise ,even by the West.Erdogan will eat uranium pie if that's what needed to redress the situation but it will be ok int he end.

I see this Turkey will become Pakistan argument constantly coming back. The difference between Pakistan and Turkey is that Turkey exists more than a millennium with self-rule while Pakistan got her self rule couple of decades back. The Turkish military is one of the oldest institution in the world. The middle-east is a nasty place with the Mullah and Salafists but our military has defeated much bigger enemies in the past. In my opinion Turkey doesn't want to get involved because of political and economical reasons but eventually it will have to flap its wings to put certain players back in their corner.

We have 90 nuclear war heads. Allegedly some of the codes are in the hands of Turkey.

As long as Turkey is under the NATO nuclear umbrella it doesn't need their own nuclear weapons. Too much political implications.
