I think common man in pak has no say , its Pak army that has final word. If pak army decides to get rid of taliban it will go, otherwise it is gonna stay.

Forget Taliban. I've always wondered though, does the common man in Pakistan root for people like Qadri, the guy who killed Salman Taseer.

I have always thought no, but i remember reading on how he got showered with flowers at the courts and how so many lawyers were willing to defend him. It almost indicates that he had mass support of the local Pakistani population. Did he?

well such is the case if you really are naiive to think that even 500 -- hell, even 20,000 supporters in Pakistan represents common man....

lawyers? please!

anyone can put on a black suit and black tie in Pakistan and call themself an advocate/lawyer. I think a good number of those ''lawyers'' are hardly even educated people.
