Is Biden Demanding Use of Pakistani Military Bases After Pullout From Afghanistan?

Bhai Custom made thi, Khas PN ke liye order pe banwani thi, aap ne tu sara maza aur suspense hi khatam ker dia :(

I was only creating ease for the Americans. Let's request what they can actually make to appease us and avoid our sanctions.

Why not exchange base with US they can one in Pakistan and we can have one in US??

A huge middle finger shud b given to this demand

yes 100 Billion Dollars , More trade, 100 F-35's , 100 F-16V's , 10 Ohio Class Submarine with Minuteman ICBM's , 1000 Apache, 50 Chinook's , 2000 Reaper Drones , 4 Satellites and there you go Biden, you have a Military base in Pakistan :D
Biden ki behn ka rishta bi mang lena ta thats all that remains 😄.

100 billion is selling us cheap.

I say 1 trillion. We're even then.
Oh also we'd like a space program. Probably put up one of our politicians on a one way trip to mars.

Biden another Obama war hawk. Stay well clear Pakistanis. You shall sink further by assisting the Yanks.

Biden can demand anything but too bad for him that Nawaz or Zardari are not in power

Thats using bases, not camped there like Afghanistan. Or having permanent bases like Qatar or Bahrain. They are looking for a permanent base. This should NEVER happen. If Pakistan yields to this pressure, be prepared to live in this continuous poverty, terrorism, suffering and a virtual battlefield of opposing forces.

US gets no blowback sitting thousands of miles away. It is us who will suffer.

The USA NEVER gets a blow back thanks to the geography: Vast oceans around and only two land neighbors--both partners. And hence Europe is paying the price of the wars like Iraq, Libya, Syria. Any European reading this MUST know their refugee crises are deeply related to the American imperialism in the MENA region.

Speaking of imperialism, the so-called Left in America is a Left of partisan politics. My dear friend and neighbor is a white guy and we used to be aligned on about 100% global issues. But he can NEVER find any Democratic Party policy as wrong. Even when Libya was bombed and destroyed, he condoned Hillary's gloating.

Perhaps there is no more 'Left' left.

No harm in talking to a neighbor as USA is in Afghanistan as of now ( so some sort of neighbor ) but Pakistan experience with US after 1989 i.e sanctions e.t.c ( 1979-1989 ) , after 2011 ( 2001 - 2011 ) ( 2011-2021 ) and in 1965 , 1971 , Kargil war e.t.c makes it IMPOSSIBLE to allow US bases in Pakistan FULL STOP
Allowing USA to base in Pakistan after 911 was unique emergency
Otherwise we would be grouped together with Taliban
Not such issue now

When President Joseph R. Biden announced his decision to withdraw all US troops from Afghanistan, he said: "We will ask other countries in the region to support Afghanistan, especially Pakistan, as well as Russia, China, India and Turkey." Biden has also talked about the US reorganizing its counterterrorism capabilities in the region to be able to hit the target from “over the horizon.” These discussions have triggered speculation about the Biden administration seeking access to military bases in Pakistan to target the Taliban after total US pullout from Afghanistan.

Afghanistan-Pakistan-US Relations

Responding to a question on the subject of "drone strikes and air strikes" asked in an interview by Voice of America's Ayesha Tanzeem, President Arif Alvi said: I’m not aware, and I don’t think Pakistan will be in a position to offer that".

Alvi's response has not diminished the ongoing speculation about Pakistan helping US military's counterinsurgency ops in Afghanistan. Nick Reynolds, an analyst at the London-based think tank Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), has written a piece on it which brings in the United Kingdom helping the United States persuade Pakistan to allow the use of its territory to launch air strikes in Afghanistan. Here's an excerpt of Reynold's article:

"Ultimately, counterterrorism operations will have to continue in the region, and the US, UK and NATO will be further entangled in Pakistani diplomatic affairs as a result. There is a risk that the UK and NATO, if they wish to support the US, will only be able to do so by striking into Afghanistan from basing in neighboring countries, effectively a continuation of one of the current lines of effort that the Biden administration is attempting to terminate, except with the bases moved across the Pakistani border. The US, UK and NATO may even end up seriously escalating combat operations in Afghanistan in some form in future, either to prevent the Afghan government from falling or to address Taliban support for terrorist networks if they are allowed to take power. The Biden administration seeks to end the ‘forever war’ by withdrawing. However, given the ongoing situation with Islamist terrorism globally, the forever war looks instead as if it is transitioning into a new and dangerous phase in which the UK and NATO will be forced to play a continuing role".

Should Pakistan yield to western pressure yet again as it did after 911? Pakistan has paid a very heavy price for working with the United States in the last two decades. Tens of thousands of Pakistanis have died in attacks launched by groups opposed to US-Pakistan cooperation. Pakistan's economy has suffered hundreds of billions of dollars of losses. And yet, Pakistan continues to be accused of double-dealing. Pakistani civilian and military leaders will undoubtedly face very strong internal opposition to the use of Pakistani territory for any US military operations in Afghanistan.

Back in 2016, General David H. Petraeus thoroughly debunked intense media propaganda campaign of allegations of duplicity against Pakistan Army and ISI. He has also ruled out cutting ties with Pakistan as an option.

Here's the video of General Petraeus at RUSI. His remarks on Pakistan are in the last 8 minutes of the video:

why should america need base in pakistan ? they can easily finance opposite group of taliban , they will do the job on support of american arm and supplies . ahmad shah masud did it for russia , india , iran.

Fellows, unfortunately the recent history of Pakistan's generals suggests that they may once again allow this to happen. The Generals are the real controllers, and they past decisions to join the US on War on Terror has absolutely destroyed Pakistan and its people, and its economy! Who will HOLD THESE GENERALS RESPONSIBLE for destruction of Pakistan's economy and deaths of thousands of people and soldiers??

What do you think Kabul regime was sonny USA fed it 70+ billion annually
But still half of Afghanistan is under Taliban control or influence
IE not suitable for basing expensive systems like jets etc
with USA removal only tiny pocket's if any of opposing group would remain not suitable for a strategic base

Hey,

I actually feel this is another Yemen (others thought it was an opportunity, not me). Call the base a UN base or whatever. Have soldiers from all the countries based there under PAKISTAN CONTROL. They are to conduct strikes against TTP, Al Qaida and ISIS. All missions to be carried out should be either approved by majority vote or just by Pakistan.

But before any of this is allowed, Pakistan should get the following:

1) All armed services get what ever equipment they desire
2) Pakistan gets off the FATF grey list
3) Pakistani Businesses get what they want

If the above can be possible and the base be referred to as UN or Anti terrorist force or whatever and it even houses Saudi or UAE or Turkey troops, I think this is an ideal opportunity to make the most of it and be neutral in world politics. I say neutral because CPEC will continue as usual, Russia can be asked to help us in the Project Azm or Aviation city by giving us ToT on some products and also take part in CPEC and we have the rest of the worlds soldiers based in our country on one single base.

And before anyone says "oh, it will be black water all over again roaming our cities", know that the base security will be provided by Pakistan and everyone leaving and entering will pass through gates manned by Pakistani soldiers, so even still if we cannot keep eye on them then shame on us.

Anyhow that's my thought, lets see what actually happens. But perfect time to have relations with the Worlds sole superpower and two upcoming powers as well as Europe and making sure our neighbor to the west is not used against us.

P.S: No Indians allowed on Base, if they did not send soldiers to Afghanistan they are not allowed now to send soldiers.
