Pakistan has 585000 REGULAR but also have other Irregular Military Units as well and the total Headcount could reach close to Million considering Regular Army units and Irregular Units like Para Military while on the other hand that person was saying Above 700,000 Bangladesh Army Personnel. Bangladesh Economy could be doing good but they are still quite Behind in terms of Economic Indicators like Total GDP, Per capita etc. So its still remain Impossible to maintain such a Huge Military under those conditions anyways.
Looks like you are over thinking it a bit.Not all the reservists are under army,Large portion of them are under MOI,thus gets paid from their budget. Also army reserve contains largely of personnel who choose to retire early(after the mandatory time of service for enlistment) and volunteers from BNCC.Volunteers don't get paid and retired personnel doesn't get paid other than their retirement allowance. So Its not about that big dill. And yes,BD economy surely can afford them.
Why ask?Does your CRPF or NCC fights with sticks and stone? No, na?will they fight with sticks and stones??? lolz
The number is the total enlisted and trained manpower. They don't serve active duty. They are trained under the force, can be called in the regular battalions when their service is required, other than that they are civil citizens who has a military training. If you weren't so obsessed with joking, you would have read the line where i mentioned the number of active service Battalions.
