Kalam in india is respected not because he follows Gita or any others religious texts.... but because he is devoted to 'science'.

In his book he mentions some part of Gita..but it doesnt mean that he is not a muslim..one of my friend here gave me a link of Holy Quran to read it..is that mean I am a Muslim?Whats wrong with reading it?


And about being Shrik one of the elite member here calling Kalam shirk offered me pork meat cooked by herself ..Is it better to look in to yourself than branding other good muslim or bad muslim?

I think the biggest "shirk" is done by the people who take upon themselves, the duty of Allah, to pronounce others as "apostates". That is the role of God.

The main thing is, he's not asking for your validation as a Muslim, then why invalidate him as well? The only thing I can understand is that, this may be a problem for people when India goes around boasting that it had a Muslim President but other than that, its no one's business but the God's.
