On topic, the US is not weaker than China, it's stronger, both in economic and military terms. However China is fast catching up, it has a homogeneous culture and they speak with one voice, which has it's own strength.

It's good to have a world with multiple strong powers.
The US however remains apex country by a fair margin.

We all agree. Even Chinese not really want to challenged U.S dominant but Since Donald Trump took over the office, he decided to ended US earlier, so China had no choice have to follow the game. Just see all these Trolls in PDF very day, we are not aggressor but defender.

China whixh is net surplus nation spend only 1.3% of her GDP on defense and created a lot of news and hardwares versus USA who owns massive debts spends double and still complaining.

China has X4 the population of the United States and still has an economy smaller than the US. The US is absurdly wealthy. Money is not an issue for US.

If the US cut off China from the SWIFT system or completely ended exports of semiconductors it would be over for China. What can China do that the US cannot live without? Clearly not much. Will the US economy be hit very hard? Absolutely. But China would be hit much worse.

The parts relevant for the military are the primary and secondary sectors. You can check for yourself who has the largest of these.

If the US cut off China from the SWIFT system or completely ended exports of semiconductors it would be over for China. What can China do that the US cannot live without? Clearly not much. Will the US economy be hit very hard? Absolutely. But China would be hit much worse.

People don't trade with China to use SWIFT. They use SWIFT to trade with China. Cutting China out of SWIFT means SWIFT becomes irrelevant. At the end of the day, people need products in hand.

Ending exports of semiconductors doesn't mean much either. China has a higher semiconductor production capability than North America.

That's why US is targeting IP nodes with the US content rule but if there was a full on break is IP still relevant?

As i rub my hands in delight, the Chinese military power will increase many folds within the next 2 decades. America is a decaying power that can only bomb muslims in the Middle East. Try declaring war on China or Russia and it will get obliterated.
