Iran's Water Resources in Critical Condition

dude what do you mean by average ? European average which every inch of it is full with water ? you do understand that we are mostly Deserted country ? thanks god we bless with mountain which provide us water but that dosen't mean we are ok and we can increes our population 50-60 million is good for iran
I am not talking about just water. I am saying overall. If population goes too low and other areas will be affected eg economy getting weaker, higher taxes and Iran can not afford that right now because of sanctions. Maybe in the future

The year without summer was due to an Vulcano eruption it has nothing to do with pollution.
dude thats the point single big vulcango can do this imagen we keep increes our populations cuz it's economical and we will reach a point that with single indecent like that turn into catastrophe tell me what's happens if that big vulcango repaid it self again how much food we will lose how do we are going to feed these extra population ? food become expensive we will face global arabian spring in other mean global pandemic :disagree:

The Iranian way of life wastes more resources than American way of life ! you must be Iranian to understand this!
people wash streets by tap water (remember that tap water in Iran has one of the best quality in the world!)
The amount of fuel, electricity and natural gas that we Iranian consume=waste is just dream for people in other countries. Even after increasing the cost of energy in IRAN due to cutting off the subsidies from government seems that has no effect on Iranian and we still fallow our wrong way of life .. we all are responsible for that....

There's tons of drip irrigation going on Iran. The main problem is waste by consumers.

There are many reforestation projects that make use of drip irrigation. I think Iran and Israel use the system more than any country in the region, but that's just my guess.

Exactly, that's why everything happens to people for their waste of water/energy/fuel, they deserve it. We don't have a proper culture of using our natural resources and hence, we don't deserve it. We should take a look at EU countries for example and be ashamed of ourselves. As @Abii said, Canada has the largest reserves of fresh water in the world, the country is just filled with too many lakes and yet Canadians barely waste any water in their daily use. Why? Because they have received proper education in this regard.

Currently 92 percent of Iranian water usage is in agricultural stuff, regulating residential water usage policy is something essential but definitely won't solve the problem.
Right now, most of farmers are using the traditional flood irrigation method of farming which is a total waste of resources.
There are plans to transform the traditional methods of irrigation into new ones like sprinkler, or Drip Irrigation but these kinda reforms need vast amounts of investment where the government seems to have problem with that.

You guys better find ways to desalinate huge amounts of sea water and distribute it to the areas required.....
Already many countries desalinate and use sea water but the amount produced is very small, investment in R&D is required to increase the amount dramatically...
Regarding distribution, you may find the link below interesting......
