Iran's Supreme Leader's speech on Myanmar

Thanks to Turkey for giving aid to Rohingyas. But it is not the solution.
may be soon we will also see some aid from America and UN.

We should do something more than giving lunch boxes. This will not provide any solution. All Muslim countries should interfere in Myanmar may be militarily or politically through UN or OIC.

I have been observing how over the last few weeks many Bangladeshis have been taken in by certain Islamist propaganda on the Rohingya issue. While we all sympathize with the plight of the Rohingyas we should be careful of external involvement in the conflict. The AL's lack of policy in regard to the Rohingya issue is creating an opening for another jihadist front on the borders of Bangladesh and Myanmar. Before we get to eager about Iranian, Saudi and Pakistani support for the Rohingyas we should also consider the effects that radical Islam can have for this conflict and the consequences for Bangladesh in the future. Do we really want a Kashmir, Afghanistan, Chechnya or Lebanon (1980's) type situation developing inside Bangladesh? Already a great deal of effort is being put behind this Rohingya situation to Islamize the conflict which will ultimately get out of the control of the Bangladesh government and Chittagong could become a no go area which will play directly into the hands of the Indians. Even sensible and educated Bangladeshis seem to allow their emotions to get the better of them and which tends to also cloud their judgment and prevents them thinking of the long term consequences. This is probably because they will never be held responsible or accountable for their opinions and they will never have to actually devise policy so they can make any dumb remarks they like and follow any new fad that comes along.

The Bangladesh government should immediately seek the cooperation of international aid agencies (both Islamic and Western) to alleviate the suffering of the Rohingya’s and at the same time to diplomatically isolate Myanmar on the issue. The AL’s do nothing approach is creating a fertile ground for radicalism and the absence of policy direction is abdicating the right to resolve this issue to unaccountable and radicalized groups backed by foreign government’s that have their own foreign policy agenda’s that are not necessarily in the interests of Bangladesh.

If all else fails a military solution via the UN should be considered but only as a last resort.

The land is Arakan and the people are called Arakanese or Rakhines. Muslims call themselves Rohingyas. Muslims migrated and settled in Arakan in the historical times and Myanmar occupied and annexed Arakan only in 1820s. Now, the Myanmar Junta call the native Rohingyas as illegal imigrants from Bangladesh. It is a false propaganda to banish the non-wanted Rohingyas out of their own country.

Although there were scattered cases of Muslim population since 800s, but, the main muslim population were from Bengal. The muslim troops from Bengal went there in 1430s to re-install the Monarch who was deposed by his nephew at the instigation of Myanmar. These Muslims took their families and settled in that land to become the core group of Muslims in Arakan.

Both Myanmar and Arakan were occupied by the British Bengal troops in 1820s. Arakan was first detached by the BB govt and was attached with Bengal, but, then at a later time it was joined with Myanmar for easy administration. Now, the natives of Arakan have become minority in their own land and are deprived of all facilities.

In every turmoil the Rohingyas have come to Bangladesh as refugees. This time, the GoB did not allow any more of them. I cannot just support such a decision. but, apart from emotion I must say an international effort is needed to make the Myanmar Junta to bend. It is good to see Malaysian, Indonesian, Pakistani, Iranian and Turkic govts have come out to extend help to these Rohingya destitues. I expect these and other Muslim govts to press the Junta to accept Rohingyas as their own citizens and give them protection so that they can live in their native land without being persecuted.

If the Junta fails to protect its own citizens, there are some other methods to resoluve the Rohingya issue. One of these is certainly an armed struggle. However, it will bring the Islamic extremists to enter the picture. This will destabilize both Myanmar and Bangladesh.

In order to avoid a extremist war in its front, it is imperative that the GoB also take part with the initiatives of other countries and International organizations.

Hasina is determined to make us the next U.S

jokes aside what hasina is doing is perfectly understandable because she , her political allies , and her rival, are responsible for the abuse of their own people in their own nation

they use islam not as a guide but as a political weapon, they use liberation war not as an inspiration but as a political weapon, seriously i dont understand whats the fuss of hasina not supporting rohingas , its completly expected,

this would have happened if jamat, or bnp was in power, aswell::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:
