It's not surprising to see that Myanmar junta would think of isolated DPRK leadership as more significant. "Birds of a feather...".

The major difference is that both IRI and DPRK have sufficient industrial backbone, military power, scientific and technological prowess to withstand American threats and embargo. Myanmar, despite all its natural wealth, remains a backwater with or without Western assistance.
