It is a shame that 80%+ of Iran's Jews fled during the revolution (and we must accept this was Iran's fault as the thuggish new regime executed Habibollah Elghanian which logically scared most Jews), but at least Khomeini issued the fatwa to protect the Jews or else Iran would be like Saudi Arabia or Iraq with zero jews!

80% of Iran's Jews? Based on what statistics? You can't just make up numbers like that.
Moreover, many of the Iranian Jews that left Iran left Iran for better life opportunities in Israel and the US. Even during the Shah era some Iranian Jews left Iran for Israel because apparently Israel has incentives for Jewish people to settle there. And we all know that Jews have influential people in the US. So, it's not possible to say that they fled Iran in fear of prosecution.

Jews love Israel above all.... even a recent pole in the US showed that vast majority of Jews there see Israel´s interets above that of America.
