IOEC Completes 1st stage of South Pars Phase 16 Pipe Laying​

TEHRAN (FNA)- Specialists of the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) successfully completed the shore pull operation of the new 32-inch pipeline of phase 16 of South Pars gas field.

The shore pull operation of the new 32-inch pipeline of phase 16 of South Pars was carried out by the IOEC experts, during three days of round-the-clock operation, and the offshore pipeline was carried out at the designated point in Asalouyeh, southern Iran.
The new 32-inch phase 16 South Pars pipeline is a 110.5 km long offshore pipeline that will be installed between the south coast of the phase 16-15 refinery in Asalouyeh and the phase 16 platform in the South Pars gas field.
This pipeline is designed to transmit South Pars sour gas and guarantees the stable daily transfer of one billion cubic feet of gas from the South Pars gas field and will ensure stable production in the SPD16 platform.

وزیر نیرو در تشریح مسئله آبرسانی به همدان گفت: اَبَر پروژه آبرسانی به شهر همدان 17 سال است که شروع شده و تا شهریور سال 1400 و پیش از شروع دولت سیزدهم تنها 30 درصد پیشرفت داشت، اما با تاکیدات انجام‌گرفته این پروژه در فهرست طرح‌های ویژه قرار گرفت و در حال حاضر به مراحل بهره‌بردرای نزدیک شده است.

وی ادامه داد: ابر پروژه آبرسانی به همدان 145 کیلومتر طول دارد، که فاز اول آن مسئله آب شرب همدان را‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ به صورت بلندمدت حل خواهد کرد، بر این اساس تا این لحظه خط انتقال تکمیل شده و هم اکون نصب تجهیزات نظیر شیرها در دستور کار است.

محرابیان در پایان گفت: با تاکید ریاست محترم جمهور طرح‌های آبرسانی نظیر احیای دریاچه ارومیه، احیای آبی زاینده رود و سایر طرح‌ها در دستورکار قرار گرفته و دولت برای حل پایدار مسئله آب برنامه دارد.

Iran, Belarus to team up on manufacturing of heavy-duty mining dump trucks

• National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO), said on Saturday that Iranian and Belarusian manufacturers of mining machineries are in the final stages of talks to sign a contract for joint manufacturing of heavy duty dump trucks inside Iran.​

• A total of 500 heavy duty dump trucks will be manufactured in Iran over the next three years under the joint project with Belarusian companies​

• Iranian mining machinery manufacturer HEPCO will be a key part of the joint project, adding that the company will become involved for a first time in manufacturing 136-ton and 240-ton mining dump trucks.

Well ok this one is not an infrastructure grade issue by itself but a good pointer to a real potential:.. With the exception of Kish island, Iran has so many other natural islands and oceanfront real estate in the Persian gulf which are untouched by modern development...Imagine what can be done in these places through a responsible and well thought of development.

Here is one little example of development in the Island of Hormuz..This architecture is now nominated for some awards.

Not that surprising as Iran is rich in very good turquoise and turquoise and copper are often found together. I think a new and rich deposit was found in Kerman about a decade ago that is equal to old Nishabur in both quality and quantity.

$10 billion dollars to boost Iran's tourism infrastructure
