I'm impressed by the presentation and quality of the pictures to be honest. Small thing to say, but still important. It is disappointing when they work hard only for media to really not give the best first impression of their work. Congratulations to them.

Definitely pleased with how Ababil has come along.

Good thread giving overview of Mark-46 torpedo used by Karrar, new Almas-ER (possible copy of Spike-ER) and new loitering munition/UAV called Dahom Shahrivar (combination of Arash and Shahed-136):

This guys thread is good;

Curious about this munition and who is supposed to carry it. Looks heavy.

Kinda wondering if they should really consider building a new variant of Arash with folded wings, for canister launches in large quantities. How much would folded wings affect aerodynamics and physics of the UAS compared to fixed wings? Can the wings carry fuel if they are folded?

But i thought 110% of Shahed drones have been shot down and that they were jammed by Aliexpress jammers since Shahed is an Aliexpress drone that anyone can make as a hobby drone

So Zelensky and Oryx and The National Interest were lying?

Judging by the specs of its israeli cousin,the spike er,it probably weighs around 35kg,which is pretty close to the sadid 345 glide bomb version with the fixed winglets.
So considering its weight it would probably be carried by the shahed-129,the ababil-5 and the shahed-149 [gaza],plus theres the various helicopters as well.
The israeli version also has a ground launcher,this looks to use the tripod from the old tow launcher with the ability to mount the standard spike command and launch unit onto it.

It is called "Circular Economy". UN should recognize efforts of IRIN armed forces and IRGC for avoiding waste generation and rubbish.

Two observations;

A transponder it is not exactly a EW equipment. It is a basic equipment that radiates a radio answer when the system receives a interrogating signal by a secondary radar. It is so simple... but more than necessary for avoiding friendly fire and flying in a military grade protected airspace.
Moreover this equipment seems to be removable, so you can quit it from the aircraft when flying in patrol missions where it is not necessary to be under the military radar coverage.
Anyway the utility to design and use of this kind of systems allow virtually all the MALE Medium altitute long endurance UAS in IRIN/IRGC service to enjoy a capability of operating under the radar and SAM coverage, without expensive modernization or reduction in UAS fleet. It is another step in the integration of a aerial defense grid.
