In the clip, drone locked on target from 10km away, it's well beyond most of threats. Hellfire is ineffective against buildings and useless in urban warfare.

10 km is good but these bombs can reach those range only if released from higher altitude a Brimstone II or Griffinor Sadid Missile could reach those range at a lot lower altitude also it could be used against enemy UAV and Helicopters , or against fast moving targets foe example a pickup racing in desert while those smart bomb have very hard time hitting such target also why you think AGM-114R cant be used against buildings ?

I thought Iran has captured Predator, they can copy it's high tech camera

Guess we can copy it but building it light enough is also a problem
also consider that copying something will not teach us much but using its tech in our design is what open new roads for us and enhance our abilities to design better equipment

no Mohajer can retract landing gear and it seems Israel had problem targeting them and many times their missile missed them , in one case the F-16 had to come so near to them that it nearly got caught in blast after shooting the UAV

wow, Mohajer-6 operates naval attacks. Man i love this bird, it can shoot helicopters down too. Different capabilities, if we compare it with Shahed-129

This would be my best guess. Mohajer with two guided bombs would be more economical for constant border patrol as opposed to using a large s-129

depend on endurance and how high it can fly , if shahed can fly for example twice as high then it can cower aot more area at a time and so there will be need for less UAV

Cost is the key.

If it uses a Iranian made engine as well as most other components then it's cost will be low enough to be fielded in larger numbers by the IRGC ground forces. It can be started from a highway strip and land anywhere via parachute.

Its 12 hours endurance is half of that of the "strategic" S-129 and its payload even less than half. But if the system price is half of that of the S-129, its well worth it for a services that does not need more capability.

So the answer is: Everything has its role.

you will never be able to reverse engineer flir systems. Ther is a lot of technology behind that flir! Wel you can try it at least.

So you are talking about a uav flying above 10km height and from that distance you can see a licence plate of a car? Good achievement Iran... But that video is not 40000ft.
