Russian's produce a new drone, the Privet-82
Very interesting. This drone are supposed to be deployed to Ukraine in the next few weeks
It has a range of 30 KM
can travel up to 140 KM/HR
has a payload of 5.5 KG or 12 LBS
It's very nimble & allegedly costs as much as a washing machine
It's components are relatively cheap, lightweight & mostly sourced from Russia itself to offset western sanctions

wonder what's with Russia and that elastic band launcher , why not using hand or other devices of launching those small drones
that elastic band produce problem in Russia cold winters

wiki says it's either a TFE731 or TF34

I believe to remember that there was a lot of talking about TF34 at that time. But TF34 and also TFE731 are both to long in my opinion.

In Bryank region today Russia lost 2 MI-8 helicopters, 1 SU-35, 1 SU-34. Some are saying they were shot down by MANPADs and others are saying Ukraine used Patriots or maybe AIM-120 air to air missiles. During the last 2 days Ukraine has hit multiple targets in Lugansk city with the newly supplied Shadow Storm missiles. Russia responded to the Lugansk strikes by using Shaheds to hit western Ukraine. Russia has vowed massive retaliation for the downing of its helicopters & jets today. The SU-34 pilots both died & so did the helicopter pilots. Also in Lugansk Ukraine began using decoy missiles.

Ukraine keeps lying blatantly on their interception numbers, which means 81% interception rate on 21 drones launched, something ridiculous as we see them still shooting on the skies with SPAAG and machine guns mounted on pickup trucks, waiting for photos since every part loves taking photos on tiktok of what they destroyed.

Also this time i wonder what they will say about the ammunition center, the explosion is massive, it cannot be a grain or food depot or an hospital.

when you use french components in your system , you should except these kind of things ... Iraq in 1990s learned this lessen in hard way , but russians didnt study that war , or maybe they are overconfident ...

somebody recall Argentine Exocet missiles

Tolue-14

for drone based RQ-170 we use an aft-fan turbo fan engine called tolue-14
about rq-4 the the prize was the sensor and the package it caried not engine also the missile exploded beside its engine I doubt the engine survived that
Thanks for the details, though it's still not clear what engine was on the original RQ-170 captured by Iran, whether TF34 or TFE731 or FJ33 or FJ44? Was it actually a FJ33 which was reverse engineered as Jahesh-700?

Don't rush to believe the claims yet, so far i can only see clear irrefutable visual evidence of one Mi-8 and one Sukhoi.

The french Exocet missiles that sunk 2 British destroyers and damaged other warships in 2 months and killed a ton of their soldiers and f*cked up a US Frigate during the Iran Iraq war?

no the one that France gave Britain the codes to disable them

It's been confirmed. Russia lost 2x MI8 helicopters, 1x SU-34, 1x SU-35

Allegedly, the helicopters were jamming Ukrainian radio signals. One was shot down with a Stinger MANPAD. Another allegedly just crashed ? (hard to believe).

The SU-34 & SU-35 being in Russian airspace believed that they were safe & were not expecting to be attacked in their own airspace.

Allegedly a Ukrainian MIG-29, with upgraded radar, avionics, using AIM-120 missiles, flew low & then abruptly targeted the Russian jets with AWACS intelligence provided by NATO. So the MIG-29 didn't use its own radar, but data link via AWACS. So the MIG-29 didn't lock onto the SU-34/35 with its radar, therefore they had no clue they were being targeted. I'm surprised though, shouldn't Russian AWACS have alerted them ?

Just like with how Russia is currently able to jam the HIMARS missiles with electronic warfare, or sometimes they block Starlink, it's a game of cat & mouse. This was the worst day for the Russian airforce, probably during the entire war. The only worse incidents were when Ukraine used upgraded Soviet drones to target several bombers deep inside Russian territory.

Anyways in the big picture, Russia has shot down a large number of Ukrainian aircraft during this war & destroyed dozens of Ukrainian aircraft on the ground. The game of cat & mouse will continue and now Russia is promising massive retaliation against Ukraine.

In other news, the Ukrainian counter offensive in Bakhmut hasn't really yielded much results. They've gained maybe 2-4 SQ KM & Russia claims that in Bakhmut area 500 Ukrainian soldiers were killed. I can't show the videos but there are several videos showing piles & piles of Ukrainian corpses.

Also Lancet drones continue to target Ukrainian assets. Today another Ukrainian M777 & various other assets were destroyed.

Ukraine is now building cope structures to prevent drone strikes on their self propelled artillery & APCS. They use 2X4s & chicken wire to build them. They might work against quadcopter drones dropping munitions but they cannot stop drones like the Lancet that can hit targets at a speed of 300 km / hr, not to mention it can strike from various angles.

the effective range of aim-120 is around 100km the su-35 magical radar is supposed to be able to detect it from hundreds of km away
and who says awacs directed the missile , that would be directly attack Russia and be assured NATO is not ready to enter a war with Russia yet

I don't know if its true but regardless no weapon is invincible or full proof. Look at how Russia is jamming the HIMARS or how Shaheds by passed Patriot air defense systems to hit multiple targets deep inside western Ukraine yesterday. Or look at how Lancets have destroyed Tor, S-300 or German Gepards. It's really a game of cat & mouse. The Bayraktar TB2s were very effective at first but the Russians figured them out. Also they claimed that Patriot shot down Kinzhal but it was debunked and turned out that a BETAB-500 was actually shot down.
