Iranian uav Spying on US Aircraft Carrier

This was a while ago but they managed to do it without being detected until the absolute minute. The UAV managed to make it back to Iranina air space before being intercepted.

They may have known it was there, however they may have decided to let the craft do it's duties so no hostile intentions could be displayed to the world at large.

I understand what you are trying to say but it is Impossible, nothing is aloud to come within a 100 mile radious of any aircraft carrier unless given permition it is one of many rules that are inforced.

If they cannot detect the UAV then a CM will do a lot more damage... About the passive sensor... Anyting that sees IR, radar or metal will hit this even if it is extremely inacurate... THe loss will be huge... More then a few billions in one hit.

Aircraft carriers are only useful if nations are crippled already. If they have some kind of decent subs, naval wing or SSM/CM/BM then these big dots on radar need to stay out of any scenario...
