The Safir-1 SLV is reliable but small. The Simorgh (aka Safir-2) can launch larger payloads but development is slow. Another very large SLV called Qaem is in development but there is no detailed information other than the fact it uses solid fuel.

but Mesbah project chief, Mohammad hasan Entezari rejected these lies and said this satellite is absolutely commercial and even a private company has proposed a plan to operate it.

مجری پروژه ماهواره مصباح به اعلام رئیس سازمان فضایی ایران مبنی بر فرستادن این ماهواره به موزه، واکنش نشان داد. محمد حسن انتظاری مجری پروژه ماهواره مصباح در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار دفاعی خبرگزاری تسنیم با اشاره به اعلام امروز محسن بهرامی رئیس سازمان فضایی ایران مبنی بر اینکه ماهواره مصباح به دلیل هزینه‌دار بودنش در موزه نگهداری خواهد شد، گفت: به موزه بردن ماهواره مصباح تاکنون در مذاکرات ما با سازمان فضایی مطرح نشده و حتی طرح این موضوع هم، غلط و غیرتخصصی است. هزینه پرتاب ماهواره مصباح و آزمایشات آن برای تطابق با هر موشکی هم کاملا عادی است. وی افزود: پرتاب و بهره‌برداری از ماهواره مصباح در هیئت امنای سازمان پژوهش‌های علمی و صنعتی ایران مطرح و مورد حمایت جدی این سازمان است. حتی به دلیل اقتصادی بودن این طرح و با توجه به اینکه سرویس‌های تجاری آن کاملا اقتصادی است، یک شرکت خصوصی داخلی پیشنهاد بهره‌برداری آن را به سازمان پژوهش‌ها ارائه داده است. طبق ارزیابی‌هایی هم که از این شرکت خصوصی داشتیم، مشخص شده که طرح تجاری این شرکت برای ماهواره مصباح قابل اجراست. مجری پروژه ماهواره مصباح تصریح کرد: مجری پروژه ماهواره مصباح با بیان اینکه واگذاری امتیاز ماهواره مصباح به یک شرکت خصوصی داخلی، کاملا اقتصادی است، اظهار داشت: این کار باعث می‌شود که هم تکنولوژی داخلی ارتقا یابد و هم عزت ملی افزایش پیدا کند.

As its a so called "Norh Korean" launch Iran can "bypass" the sanctions

Iran already has a perfectly good slv at its disposal any time it wishes to do so,it doesnt need to use a dprk one.The problem here is not a lack of technology it is simply the utter and complete total lack of any political will on the part of rouhani and co to do these things,for them the space program just doesnt seem to have any real value sadly.
