Iranian Space program

first stage engine test is on the ground and without a real second stage you can't claim a real first stage test, so either this test hasn't happened, failed or the same political motive which has archives our satellites has prevented the complete test.

also my question was simple, why they didn't announce the (rumor) achievement, was it shame or fear? the question which bites!

Even if this was a failure ,i would not see one single reason why the government would be behind it :|||

soon we will envy and compare ourselves with North Korean space agency the way we compare our car industry with South Korea today!

Iran to Launch Homegrown “Mesbah” Satellite into Orbit

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of the Iranian Space Organization Mohsen Bahrami announced on Tuesday that the country will launch the indigenous “Mesbah” satellite into orbit in the near future, adding that a new version of the satellite is also under construction.


Addressing a specialized meeting of high-ranking officials of Iran’s Space Organization in Karaj, west of Tehran, Bahrami said the Mesbah2 (Lantern) and “Nahid” satellites are under construction.

He added that the domestically-made Mesbah satellite is ready to be launched into the orbit.

Referring to Iran's achievements in the fields of satellite and satellite carrier, Bahrami announced that “Amir Kabir”, “Zafar (victory)” and “Doosti (friendship)” are three other satellites which are also under construction and will be soon sent to the space.

Iran successfully launched into orbit its first indigenous data-processing satellite, Omid (Hope), back on February 2, 2009.

As part of a comprehensive plan to develop its space program, Iran also successfully launched its second satellite, dubbed Rassad (Observation), into the earth’s orbit in June 2011. Rassad’s mission was to take images of the earth and transmit them along with telemetry information to ground stations.

The country’s third domestically-built Navid-e Elm-o Sanat (Harbinger of Science and Industry) satellite was sent into orbit in February 2012.

In January 2013, Iran sent a monkey into space aboard an indigenous bio-capsule code-named Pishgam (Pioneer).

And later in December 2013, the country’s scientists successfully sent a monkey, called ‘Fargam’ or Auspicious, into space aboard Pajoheshan (Research) indigenous rocket and returned the live simian back to earth safely.
 
ISA to put geosynchronous satellite in orbit by 2025

TEHRAN, Jun. 20 (MNA) – ISA deputy director has announced Iran’s ultimate goal as building indigenous satellites parallel to foreign models and to place them into geosynchronous equatorial orbit (GEO) in ten years.


Mohammad Homayoun Sadr, Deputy Director of the Iranian Space Agency (ISA), who was speaking to the press on Monday, said that satellites had been currently built and launched by Iran as mere experimentations in space technology and as nascent Iranian venture into the space.

“We seek to launch to home-made geosynchronous satellites into the orbit by the year 2025,” he underlined.

“A 10-year plan has been put on the agenda for the construction of two remote sensing and telecommunications satellites; the remote sensing device aims to localize a satellite capable of producing professional high precision images, while the telecommunication satellite seeks to be a world-class satellite, an objective which will be hopefully achieved by the year 2025.”

Sadr proposed the possibility to test-launch prototype satellites before ultimate the ultimate products; “a remote sensing satellite will be launched into space in the current year while one or two more satellites will be launched in the coming year (March 21 2017) which will help us to maintain and improve the achieved status by keeping a satellite in the orbit for more than a few months,” he asserted.

“As the next step, we need to put satellites into higher altitudes in order to capture more precise imaging,” stressed the official.

نسل اول سیمرغ همین امسال عملیاتی میشه

موضوع اصلی اینجا طولانی بودن پروسه تحقیق و توسعه تا رسیدن به یک ماهواره بر عملیاتی بی نقص هست

حتی بعد از عملیاتی شدن توسعه سیمرغ ادامه پیدا میکنه تا بتونه تا 700 کیلو رو به مدار های بالاتر ببره

سفیر 1 در نمونه اول فقط 22 کیلو رو به مدار میبرد

ولی الان تا 70 کیلو رو میبره که 3 برابر بیشتره

سپهر کلا یه داستان دیگری هست

به مرور زمان ماهواره برهای بزرگتری ساخته میشن

ماهواره برهایی که 50 تا 60 متر ارتفاع دارن

یعنی 2 تا بوستر سوخت جامد بزرگ به قطر 3.5 تا 3.7 متر

یک مرحله اول سوخت مایع که احتمال زیاد از نوع کروسن/ اکسیژن مایع هست و قطر 4 متر یا بیشتر خواهد داشت

و یک مرحله دوم کرایوژنیک

این ماهواره بر 10 تا 15 سال ساختش طول میکشه
