I've read this article before. This is a military exercise. Iran made a documentary of it . High-speed boats were able to get an aircraft carrier to such an extent that it would be useless and unusable just on the third day. And that's why they canceled the exercise before it was completed. Because of the high casualties of the American troops.

Indeed, it was called Millennium Challenge 2002, and it failed badly for the US. Imagine Iran’s naval impact today!

Exactly . I agree with you. It was also conducted without the use of ballistic missiles, anti-ship cruise missiles or hundreds of Iranian anti-ship ballistic missiles.

Isn’t Nahang a failed project? I heard that only one was produced due to design flaws

Nahang was an R&D project to produce a larger sub with greater dive capabilities!
Ghadir class is specifically made for the shallow waters of the Persian Gulf!

What I really wanna see is Iran building a Hydrogen Oxygen combustible engines by using sea water as fuel!
A correct amount of electricity can separate the Hydrogen & Oxygen from sea water and you can use them for a combustible engine that turns an advanced brushless alternator.....

Indeed, it was called Millennium Challenge 2002, and it failed badly for the US. Imagine Iran’s naval impact today!

That's right 1st attempt at the Millennium Challenge failed and 2nd attempt was rigged to save face as a result US decided on a different path!

1st creating decent in boarder Areas using CIA trained and backed operatives in the border areas inside and outside Iran

- From the north from the republic of Azerbaijan sending CIA back operatives into Iran

- From the East in two areas one from Pakistani Baluchistan and the 2nd from Afghanistan using elements from Al-Qaida & Taliban in Afghanistan. They have also had Pakistani media constantly promote anti Iranian propaganda!

- From the West 1st it was ISIS that failed so now it's Iraqi Kurdistan ( that whole absurd Kurdish referendum was built to make Iran look bad! And better unite PKK & PJAK with the Pashmerga. This is what the CIA is spreading among the Kurds these day's)

The reason the Pashmerga ran from Kirkuk has to do with the fact that a large portion of the population of the area wanted nothing to do with being part of a country called Kurdistan land locked and at odds with Iran, Iraq, Turkey & Syria!

After the failed attempt to create a pro Saudi ISIS caliphate right off Iran's boarder failed all they were left with was Kurdistan

There is NO country in the region that has helped the Kurds as much as Iran has so ISIS was the 1st option and then they got their hooks into the Pashmerga by handing them weapons & sending operatives there and into Iran's Kurdish region......

At the end of the day all you really need is 50,000 people inside Iran (~10,000 people on your payroll in various boarder area) And if you pay each of them an average of $1000 per month ($12,000 USD per year) that's only $600 Million USD a year & $6 Billion USD after a decade.
And if they pay you for a decade they own you! You can't change your mind because the CIA will threaten to expose you so you either flee Iran and risk getting assassinated by the CIA or stay & risk getting executed for treason by the government!

And 50,000 people if the guy is told to bring out his wife and kid(s) for a protest suddenly turns into ~150,000 people!
And you can easily have your Azari operatives drive to Kurdistan & your Kurdish operatives drive to Tabriz.... And you'll always have a bunch of uninformed idiots that will join in....

The Iraq war cost the U.S. $2 Trillion USD so $600 Million a year is really NOTHING & they likely have the Saudis flip the bill!

Americans aren't stupid, look what they did with Iraq!
1. They get Iran & Iraq to go to war to weaken both countries 1980-88 and after 8 years Iran's ability to disrupt oil was far greater than Iraq so they focus on Iraq 1st while only sanctioning Iran.
2. They give the go ahead for Saddam to invade Kuwait to have an excuse to attack Iraq
3. After Iraq invades Kuwait they start the 1st Gulf War 1990-91
4. After the war they subject Iraq to every sanction humanly possible & force inspection & restrictions on Iraq's military industry and Ballistic Missile program.
5. They conducts Missile attacks and bombings on Iraq almost EVERY year for a decade 1992-2002 Operation Southern Watch (1992-2003), Operation Northern Watch (1997-2003),... Iraq's Air Defense & Military infrastructure was bombed every year under every US administration.
6.2003 Iraqi invasion

And they did all this in a country 1/4 the size of Iran with 1/4 of the population where a minority sect had control over the majority. In 2003 Iraq only had ~1.2 Million Sunni Arab men age 16-60

Now someone who doesn't have a clue of what's what may think that the U.S. military is so strong that they were able to invade Iraq within weeks but that's nothing but fiction and propaganda it took them decades of planning, covert operations and bombings plus a leader in Iraq that was more worried about how to hide his cash in the walls of his palace's and was deluded enough to think that allowing the US to inspect it's military facilities & agreeing to restrictions and inspection of his Ballistic Missile programs was going to save him!
Same mistake Qaddafi made!

2nd From the south the U.S. has been arming Saudi Arabia & UAE and it's clear they are hoping that the GCC starts a war with Iran 1st!

In 2003 Iran tested the U.S. with it's Grand Bargain to see what exactly are US intentions as it pertains to Iran. Is their aggression towards Iran centered around normalization of ties and slowly turning Iran into a U.S. ally or is it about turning Iran into a US puppet, robbing Iran and selling weapons? And the answer was loud and clear!

Unfortunately brother, that is a scary near-reality.
