aft of the ship only one,
I thought there was room for two systems aft, probably was a choice dictated by problems related to the weight of the superstructure that had to be realized to make the ammunition deposit for two CIWS.
Is it only one or I just can't see another one from this angle .
If you look at its equivalent replica, there is a canon or CIWS system in front.

Well I hope there is at least one in front of the ship otherwise it will be wide open from that angle or if they attack it from two side.

No need for a Separate radar because of now available high capability thermal imager. Like the Seraj system probably does the job of the Skyguard better than the original. Main radar will pick-up the threat and optics will track it.
Thermal imaging is some how in efficient against for example glide bombs .

. . . .

If Iran's Navy adds 1 ship to it's blue water fleet every 2-3 years that would = to ~30-50 ships after 100 years and these ships at best last 20-30 years

Which means building small ships like the Mowj class for your blue water fleet is a waist of recourses because for Iran building the hulls is the easy part so you might as well make them bigger from the start and if we are going to have a relatively small fleet in the coming century then you might as well make them force multipliers

We might as well make the hulls 20-40 meters longer and a few meters wider to add a small VLS to carry 24 missiles and a large fleet (40 or more) capable Quads that can be modified and used for various purposes like anti sub warfare, finding and or deploying small smart mines, search and rescue, swarm attacks, quick and low cost response in anti piracy operations, recon, various types of decoys to disrupt various types of sensors....

. .
Sahand finally has a somewhat modern design (Hidden radar tower) and is significantly larger superstructure than Mowj.

"Among our plans in the near future is to send two or three vessels with special helicopters to Venezuela in South America on a mission that could last five months," Iran's deputy navy commander, Rear-Admiral Touraj Hassani Moqaddam, told the semi-official news agency Mehr.

Welcome to what I have been saying for past 3 years. Iran’s Navy shipbuilding is pitiful.

But Iran is not going to build an unproven warship. It’s likely iran will wait to buy a few modern warships which it can then reverse engineer.

waiting for images of better quality.
Looking at these images, the dome is completely different from the AK-630, as is the Chinese version with a stealth dome

in this first photo, behind the CIWS, there is enough space to install a fire radar or an optronic system and in the underlying superstructure, it could be used by the rest of the radar equipment and by the military dedicated to their use
