I don't wanna derail the thread too much to say it shortly. Azerbaijan has made claims over Iranian territory so naturally, that is going to make alot of people unhappy, and this has recently intensified. The main road between Armenia and Iran which runs trade is frequently blocked by Azerbaijani troops, and Iranian truck drivers are arrested, fined or unable to deliver their goods, this of course has caused economic issues. Not to mention, if you observe Azerbaijani military equipment you will see Israel......lots and lots of Israeli equipment. That is a big issue of it's own as well. One would ask, how much influence does Israel have over this country?

Alot of this has to do with the basis of all evil.......geo-politics, and Azerbaijanis territorial claims over Iran has been a long issue but a tolerated one, but I am not sure how long it will be tolerated. Between Azerbaijani Turks and Iranian Turks we have beefs. The Friday cleric of Ardabil, which is probably the most important Azeri city historically, and a very important political figure in Iran, spoke in Turkish and said to the officials in Baku, "not to play with the lions tail" and asked the security council of Iran to run military drills. Now here we are. I am not sure if these drills have even started yet, but some amateurs footage shows preparations are being made.

I should add, that It has been long suspected that Israeli agents are based in Azerbaijan to infiltrate Iran and cause problems which is no surprise given the close military relations between the two countries.

Pakistan's frequent naval cooperation with Iran isn't within a reason btw. During the 90s, we had a deal with Iran that we'll shift all of our air bases to Iran in case of a full fledged war with India. Even the drills were conducted to execute this plan. Idk if the accord is still active.

So ignore the retard and I hope Iranians know that we Pakistanis aren't nuts lol. Azerbaijan is just another puppy of the west which hosts Mossad bases as well. Holding exercises doesn't mean we're going to do crazy shit.

Very interesting, I had no clue about this agreement between our nations. I should research about that.

I don't see much in terms of issues between our two nations. Iran understands Pakistan's political and security requirements very well and despite being sanctioned to the end of the earth has not compromised it's relationship with Pakistan in order to generate $ by intensifying economic relations with India.

the beef is that Azerbaijan did something stupid ( it looks like they faired a anti aircraft missile targeting head of IRGC him self but they missed and some said they arrested Iranian drivers ) so now Iran Army and IRGC are doing crazy amounts of military build up that includes sending ballistic missiles to Azerbaijan border .

Is this actually true verifiable or only a rumor? I have about this rumour and I don't quite believe it. I think this is about that issue of blocking the Iran-Armenia border.

This is as official as it gets Bhai. I think this fellow misunderstood the drill and is confident to the point of making things up. Pakistan and Iran have naval drills, doesn't mean that Pakistan will run to Iran's aid if it has a conflict with somebody.
