Iranian general fatally shoots himself by accident

You might think its symbolic but to a carrier officer with that much experience it is his last line of defense! This was a IRGC general, heavily involved in Syrian War!

look at the pictures of our commanders in syria and see what they carry ,forget about movies , you that revolver do not have enough precision and fire power to hit anything 20m away , if the general become in a situation of life and death ,he'll use a real gun or RPG

If you wanna believe that he was a clumsy buffoon who accidentally shot himself by dropping his "Symbolic revolver" that is fine but i don't buy it!

it takes a lot of mental gymnastics to come to that sort of conclusion..... This general must be one of the unluckiest men alive.

It is extremely uncommon for professional soldiers with decades of experience, and multiple wars under their belts to accidently shoot themselves in the head with their own weapon, in peace time sitting at home.

it is extremely common though for long term soldiers who have seen war and death to have severe mental difficulties/survivors guilt etc... And to resort to suicide to end the pain~

its also relatively common for influential generals to quietly get offed in dictatorships that fear generals getting too influential...… The Iranian government since its post-revolutionary birth has been absolutely obsessed with putting every possible safety precaution they can to avoid a military coup.... (not that im saying that's what happened in this particular case)

you guys problem is you think the more experienced you get the more you follow the safety guides while in reality its the opposite , for some times it's true but after that you tend to short cut the safeties .

and a gun falling of your hand is just an unlucky accident nothing more and have nothing to do with being clumsy , you guys just want to see conspiracy in anything .

and yes the pistols that high ranking commanders carry are symbolical , it worth shit in real life situation unless you are storming a building and no one expect a top ranking officer actually storm buildings , if an officer be in a situation that needs him to carry a gun , he will take a real gun like the rest of the soldiers
