Some times loaded revolver got jammed and hard to open and many people got killed while opening but near all of them got shot in bellow or below belly, shot in a head tell different story.

if it get jammed what if it accidentally fall from your hand and hit ground . these type of revolvers have no safety at all.

Yeah I mean it’s not like Iran has expanded control to the Mediterranean, Yemen, and Africa, controls over 100,000 Shiite miltias, gave birth to Hezbollah recognized globally as elite soldiers, and has the US, Israel, and arab world struggling to contain it.

Meanwhile India’s vaunted military cannot take back land from Pakistan and is wholly unprepared to defend against a rising China.

Well what do you expect from a country that a large portion of population still defacate in the open and shower in rivers/lakes?

because professionals do not 'clean' loaded personal weapons (while pointing them at their own heads), there is a prescribed way to carry, handle and clean a pistol or rifle.

I wonder how many time I must tell you what sort of gun he was using and you can ask professionals how that type of Gun tend to fire by itself even when you are not cleaning it . a simple fall is enough for those revolver to fire as there is no safety on them.

Officers are issued Pistols as side arms because they take magazines because of higher round capacity and faster reload time. Pistols don't go off when dropped because no rounds are chambered or if a round is chambered then the safety catch is engaged. Unless you subscribe to the "clumsy moron" theory there is no reason for his pistol to go off had he even managed to drop it.

well it's probably recent , in my time as a conscript some were issued pistol and some revolver
by the way carrying a weapon for the commander is symbolic and no body expect them to use it for shooting at enemy so the higher round chamber is a moot point.
