Iran Working on Smart Offensive Intelligence Tactics
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi said that his ministry is working on smart intelligence offense tactics and strategies in the current (Iranian) year (started on March 20).
"We have named 1391 (March 2012 - March 2013) as the year of smart intelligence offensive against enemy," Moslehi underscored on the sideline of a highly important gathering here in Tehran on Tuesday.
He further pointed to the goals of the gathering, and said the conference is aimed at analyzing strategies of intelligence offense.
The Iranian intelligence ministry has done great in the last 12 months. The ministry has identified over 30 US and Israeli spies and arrested scores of terrorists and agents of the western spy agencies during the period.
Last week, Iran announced that its intelligence forces had identified and arrested all terrorist elements behind the assassination of the country's nuclear scientists.
"All the elements involved in the assassination of the country's nuclear scientists have been identified and arrested," the Intelligence Ministry announced in a statement on Thursday.
A number of countries, whose territories and facilities had been misused by the Mossad-backed terrorist teams have revealed the relevant information to Tehran, the statement added.
According to the statement, Iran's Intelligence Ministry had detected some Mossad bases within the territories of one of Iran's Western neighbors, which provided training and logistic support for the terrorist networks.
