What's new

Iran will never negotiate with U.S. on anything other than nuclear deal

if they refuse to sell the airplane or spare parts the deal is broken. and I still believe there is no deal.

that includes anything that one side of the table is Iranian officials and the other side is American officials.
he specifically mentioned that we wont allow Americans influence in Iran, rather economical or cultural.

the only reason for nuclear negotiations was the sanctions, and without sanctions there is no more reason.

Mr.Leader is ultra smart and knows that he says... He knows how to score for Iran in short, medium and long term basis.

The nuclear deal is still not approved fully and many official US authorities are threatening Iran with military attack and many more non sense against Iran. now that Iranian leader threatens back it is not RIGHT!

US and ISraeli clowns are expressing ugly stuff about Iran in public ceremonies 24/7.... why not Iran giving them back some of what they said about Iran?

This deal is a very deep and game-changer sign that Iran and its enemies are no longer playing under the same standards... Iran now sees West as an equal party... West can not expect clean words while themselves saying uglier words every day... they can not expect Iran not to support Anti-Israeli forces while they support Israel in its dreaming against IRan...

Ok ... then we have to give up everything !

Hezbollah ... etc

Means no security ... no future !

USA / UK / ... are our bloody enemies ...

Our leader knows something & I am agree with him 100% !

We have a leader ... we have to follow him if we want to survive and succeed !
The leader is acting quite smart and I personally approve his words and stances.. specially those related to the foreign policy and Iranian quest against its blood-thirsty enemies....

Yes fear! Surprised right? Why doesn't someone negotiate or say I won't negotiate? What harm can negotiation do? You won't negotiate unless you fear losing something? When you fear losing you are weak, because you are attached to it so bad! So what is the leader attached to so badly that he fears losing it in a negotiation? You think his stance is daring and revolutionary? Naah! it is out of fear and backwards in my opinion.

so we don't talk to trolls because of fear?! no, it's the result of a logical thought. the right word here is "concern", not the "fear". and he already said why we don't negotiate, and what we are concerned about.

also here our opponent is a super power bully, so when we say we don't negotiate on anything with you, it means the only remaining option to settle the issues is using force. that's right, Khameneie is actually challenging the American's hegemony and that's due to his courage and self confidence.

I personally fear that! Why did US negotiate with Iran on nuclear issue? It was very costly and almost impossible to stop Iran's advance with a military invasion. So they decided to impose severe sanctions on Iran to make us give up our peaceful nuclear program and in fact they suceeded. After all we have lost many and got nothing, when you realize that there wasn't any sanctions in the first place to get rid of!
As long as US policy is against our independancy and they continue support child killer regimes like Israel and Arab dictatorships which are also thirsty to our blood, any negotiations with them means losing.
BTW After nuclear agreement some people assumed negotiations as a start for normalization of two countries relationship, wich is a mirage in my opinion, That's what Leader clearly pointed out too. He also warned the officials from letting US to get a step on our soil by using such tricks.
I fear by such series of talks, they finally force us to negotiate on our exitance!

I think he knows better if US calls his bluff it would be a disaster. I believe he wants to influence the vote in the congress and make US reject it. At least he was hoping for that and with the rhetoric he wants to take back some Democrat votes. At least if I was him I would have tried that.

He is also talking to his support base! They need new feed as the old one is out dated now.

In my opinion although charging full speed towards a nuclear threshold at the final years towards the deal was the only option left! but falling into the sanctions by itself could have been avoided and Iran benefited nothing from her nuclear endeavor which was another Khameneie's failed policies. Iran and Khameneie doesn't realize the support for Israel is universal and he can do nothing about it, specially if finally peace process goes through and two state solution is implemented they are left with only one choice! and that is the choice Arabs in the region and Palestinians would make!

Also I don't think anyone is against others independence. This is a myth that doesn't abide by international realities. If by independence you mean having Nuclear bomb then yes there is no independence acquiring one and if you mean being able to do what you want to do under international rule well every nation can do it. UAE can now ask to enrich Uranium or have Nuclear plants and they would if it is economical (which is not) and start by building Nuclear plants first and abiding by international norms. The myth of "Na Sharghi Na gharbi" and independence is a 1960's 70's concept which is embedded in Iranian politics which does not have any real meaning. The independence of a nation is judged by its economical power. Nations decide to back the other in UN and follow the other nations on the benefit they get for their nation. If you say that is not independent policy and they are slave then so are you! You just don't realize it and cost the country more till you realize it like the Multi billion dollar Nuclear establishment we have made and it will be of no use eventually.

".. After nuclear agreement some people assumed negotiations as a start for normalization of two countries relationship, which is a mirage in my opinion ..." --> Why is that a mirage and what is wrong with that. So what if they cooperate with our nation.

..."I fear by such series of talks, they finally force us to negotiate on our existence!" ...--> That is the fear I am talking about. If our existence is shattered by relationship with outside world then our existence has a chronic problem! Such fear, is an Autistic approach towards the outside world! But I agree ... when the system is unbalanced and forced to exist through iron fist policies and crackdowns then its existence is shattered when it opens up and that is the exact fear Khameneie has. Like Republicans the nature of the Conservative in Iran is based on building a virtual enemy. That is why Khamneie is never eluding from the quotes of enemy, enemy ... Fetneh Fetneh ...

Then why are they negotiating the nuclear deal now, if they have ideological problems on sitting at the same table as the Great Satan??

.
Then why we would negotiate and have diplomatic relations with England? which made more suffer for Iranians the US or Britain? and why do you think our " independent policies" will be jeopardized through negotiotions? why we couldn't go after our interest by using a tough diplomacy? are we afraid of something?

First of all sanctions over the so-called human rights, support of terrorism and so forth are still out there and make troubles for us whilst there is no guarantee that sanctions regime will be stopped on this point so base on your logic we need to negotiate ... on the other hand that's my point ..if we could get rid of sanctions through talks why we should not use such a potential in other fields for our national interests?
If we have relations with US we lose all of our popularity and influence in ME. And not only that, we will lose all of our power in ME...

Because they were going bankrupt lol. Push comes to shove, they will sell their own mothers to the US. This "never" talk is only for people like Mohsen, aka Gohsen.

قدرت مولفه ای است درونی ... متاثر از فرهنگ، اقتصاد ، رشد علمی و همچنین قدرت نظامی .. در ضمن داشتن رابطه با یک کشور به معنای پذیرفتن آن کشور نیست

You kiss your mother with that mouth ?
they will sell my own mother to the US.
no we won't .

it's all about national interests , it's not in our interest to have anything to do with them . except a deal with (P5+1) which one of it's members is , well , USofA .

.
I think Iran should first and foremost reestablish diplomatic and economic relations with European nations.
In due time Iran and US is going to eventually have a detente. Its not a very good idea to be rigid and ideological.

Well its more than obvious actually . lets say in Iraq , ok ?

Iran wants unity and peace when US wants peace but in a divided Iraq . in bahrain they support a dictatorial but when it comes to syria they are all defenders of democracy . us see ? fundamental differences bro

My question is how will not talking aid Iran in its pursuit of its national interests.

That example isn't relevant to the question. Even so, within Iraq, both US and Iran have a couple of shared interests - fighting IS.
