Yes Iraqi People's Army was composed of paramilitary forces called the Iraqi People Army, the total number of its personnel was somewhere between 650000 in the ighties to 5 million troops in the Nineties anf it froms from both Males and females
and according to International Institute for Strategic Studies Welcome Iran Paramilitary forces total is:

LEF (subordinate to the Ministry of Interior) active force = 120000 without reserves

Baseej Forces = 2 Million , all are reserve forces

You gotta go see the lines outside the US consulate in Dubai. They start forming lines (only for iranians) from 2/3 am!!! The rest of the nationalities have a different line. Much shorter and less waiting!

The real Iranians will never be allies of the US government, don't forget their revolution occured due to their opposition with the interference of US on their soil. Iranians have a positive perception of Americans, don't mistake Iranians for those that reside in your country especially those present in O.C whom leeched and stole money that belonged to Iranians. Some Iranians may have aggreviances with their government but that's an internal problem and one which all countries should butt out off and let Iranians decide who they want and who they don't want to represent themselves.

When one is half informed then the best thing to do is ask and not assume and or tell. Shias and Sunnis have differences but not at the level of Ahmadis. Its better that you do some research, ask people, and also keep your nose out of where it dont belong.
