Iran Unveils Advanced Homegrown Cargo Inspection System

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran on Monday unveiled an advanced domestically made inspection system designed to help border control forces find contraband in vehicles crossing the country’s borders.
The state-of-the-art inspection system manufactured by Iran Electronics Industries and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force was put on display in a ceremony held in the central city of Isfahan on Monday.

The system will help in customs inspections at ports of entry and in sensitive locations.

By inspecting vehicles crossing the borders and scanning cargo containers, the system can prevent smuggling.

Speaking at the ceremony, Commander of the IRGC Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour thanked those who contributed to the manufacture of the advanced system and hoped for more such achievements in the country.

look like at last our Military company are beginning to use their knowledge in civil fields !!

by making this , we will save more than 2 million euro per device and it will help our company and make jobs more than 1000 Iranian and for sure we don't need to worry about spyware and trojan and worms !!!

This is a great achievement. The only problem I see is that the walls that are facing the beamer are not thick enough to contain the radiation. There is even a window on the wall.

In a similar facility here, the wall facing the beamer (one on the left side in above picture) is 1.1m thick concrete wall.
