Unless Iran increases it's production capacity from what was shown, we will be lucky if they even manage to produce so much as 14 Kowsars a year....

And there in lies the problem in picking a small, short ranged, low payload, low cost CAS platform for a country like Iran because at the end of the day Iran would have been far better off choosing and producing a force multiplier at 2-3 times the production cost at half the production rate compared to the kowsar.

Short of using the Kowsar as an advanced supersonic trainer, I just don't see much of a future for that aircraft and Iran's Air Force rather than investing in new CAS platforms should instead be thinking about replacing it's current fleet of CAS platforms like the F-5 with UCAV's.

Also, does kowsar have an aesa? or some new planar array with electronic scanning?
