10 billion is so big number I'd say it may be one billion for some ammo don't forget some media exagurate for some agendas.
I can't think of anything that Iran could offer that would cost $10bn, its all probably bullshit or gross exaggeration.
Not true, Iran helped in liberating Diyala province but Baghdad wouldn't have fallen without their help, popular mobilization of millions would occur and army doesn't abandon the capital as it's mostly friendly territory unlike Mosul whom welcomed the revolution which is now ruining their existence.
Iran helped mobilized the Shiite Militia, they were at each other's throat at the time, Sunnis were supporting ISIS (some still do) and morale was low, US was sitting on its *** doing nothing at the time, until Yazidis. Kurds were happy and delusional about their future country before ISIS bit them in the ***. All factors considered, I don't agree with you, situation was so bad that my own friend ran from Baghdad to Basra.
