TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Police Chief Brigadier General Esmayeel Ahmadi Moqaddam said Iran plans to boost security control measures at its sea borders, stressing that the country will not allow anyone to pose a threat to its borders.
"Security of our water borders has come higher on our agenda than before," Ahmadi Moqaddam told reporters on Wednesday.
He said the country's border control capability will double in coming months, and added, "We will not allow threats to our land borders be transferred to the sea borders."
