I think both South Korea and Turkey deserve a higher rank and need to be included in the BRIC.

Pakistan and Bangladesh are the weakest two in the N11 and D8. Bangladesh has done well to get this far in 30 years, Pakistan has the potential to go even further if it wasn't for the corrupt goverment.

Yeah I'm surprised South Korea isn't a notch up either. As for Turkey they already belong to NATO.

Pakistan and Bdesh def have potential, and yes it's because of corruption as well as extremism. Would like to see a stable pakistan sometime soon

Iranians are progressive and development oriented. We should not allow U.S pressure , preferences or diktats to cloud our judgements in dealing with Iran. Regardless of what paranoia they have against Arabs or Israel, they deal honest unlike Uncle Sam with its glorious track record.

If even Talks arises about Iran being a part in BRIC,then the problem starts....
Our BRICS economy depends on Globalization...we want bigger economies to coperate to grow,to where we can export....
it's not about fear ,its about economy,u dont wanna ruin ur economic co-operation..
U don't wanna loose co-operation with these major economies US. France. Britain. Israel.japan. Arab dictatorships....just for a single chintu pintu fanatic islamic state which wants to bomb another country with its nuke...

And we don't want fanatic nations like Iran,North korea in BRICS...as simple as that
