In the meantime, they'll evaluate their relationships with others (including the US) and if I was to guesstimate, they'll end up acquiring commercial planes from Boeing and more modern fighter jets from France (Rafale probably).

I am not so sure whether the French will allow the GCC to dictate whether they do business with Iran.

Remember that Iran will soon be in a position to buy huge amounts of military hardware and the GCC will only end up hurting their bargaining power if they stop buying from France.

GCC needs France as much as France needs GCC.
