What about before Kuwait? Remember, in Desert Storm, we came within tank run range of Baghdad.Difference is twofold - Iran's air defense is much more extensive/better, and they would actually use it, unlike Libya. Iraq was exhausted after the war with Iran, and then was extensively bombed by US for a over decade after Kuwait.
Doubtful at best.Notables: stealth detecting radars (Nebo, Matla'ol Fajr, etc), Bavar 373 (suppose to be S300 level), advanced electronic warfare (can jam and disorient missiles, UAVs (RQ-170 story), etc), smart missiles and ammunition.
A heavily dispersed defense is no defense at all.One of the key features by Iranian air defense is extreme mobility. First thing US and its alies do is to bomb radars and SAM sites, but its very hard to do against Iran, since its defense is dispersed, can be moved and activated anywhere.
No such thing as a 'passive radar', if you understood basic radar principles. Some of the radars are passive and not detectable.
