Iran shows film of captured US drone

According to Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Forces Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh: "The wing-to-wing width of the RQ-170 Sentinel drone is around 26 meters with a length of 4.5 meters and height of 1.84 meters.

Looks like the Brigadier General takes his info from wiki aswell-

I have doubts now:

Fars News Agency :: IRGC Commander Explains Downing of US Stealth Drone

Thing they showed on TV is nowhere close to 26 m, but about 8 m.

Maybe he meant 26 feet.

Does it look real?-
Its a hastily made model-

and i think the wing is duck tapped together -

That makes me wonder- during the crash landing the wing broke and doesn't caught fire-
Not even a single burn mark- and amazingly high velocity impact the wing is intact not shattered from various places--

iranians this joke will bite you back-

Not sure how authentic this is, but it says wing tip to tip length is 20 meters.

Gambit is gonna show up momentarily and he is gonna refute to this claim, by giving his technical hocus-pocus, which will be backed by a few of his Indian minions, who thank him irrelevant of the material posted.
I have no problems with the usual 'America-bashing' fest whenever this sort of things occurs. From a flaw in our aircraft that none of your countries is capable of building to a simple accident to this. It is to be expected from minds too simple to grasp the technical details involved so they have to resort to calling it 'hocus-pocus'. But whatever Iran is alleged to have done, then none of them is 'hocus-pocus' but sheer genius.

Well remember these articles made a speculation on the aircraft. The U.S. Air Force never advertise the aircraft and its specs.

I mean look at the pic of the large inlet in the middle. Didn't have the cage in it as you see compare to the one the Iranians got.

Yeah , and one thing more the martians ordered the US drone to land inside Iran ... Happy now ? :P
Crash landing doesn't result in a intact drone ... Why would it caught fire ? It was hacked and made to land inside Iran ...
and yes it does look real ... Whether you believe it for not

Most articles don't know crap cause they don't own the uav. Think about all the uavs crashed in Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan and others. Ever seen a self destruct on any of them?
You are correct. In events like this where the technical details should dominate any intelligent discussion, but usually not, popular media sources are THE worst places to source and support one's argument. Unfortunately, when dealing with national security related issues, where else can an interested lay reader go? The idea that these things are 'supposed' to have self destruct mechanisms came from the entertainment industry. Those who believe in them usually have no military experience to know that such devices are actually more risky and troublesome than they are worth. Things do go wrong and with explosives there are no second chances. By that naive argument, we should install explosive self destruct devices in ALL of our aircrafts, manned or otherwise.

“After the aircraft's entry into the country's eastern [air]space, it fell in the electronic ambush of the Iranian Armed Forces and was brought to the ground with minimum damage [caused to it],” Mehr News Agency quoted Commander of the Aerospace Division of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh as saying on Thursday.

Explains the whole thing ...

Any official comments on the video so far? Am sure Skunkworks people should be able to tell straight away if this is the real deal or not.
