Iran says will continue supporting Kashmiris

Good decision. Iran's decision to support Kashmir is welcome move. We have many SHias residing in Kashmir who are regularly targeted by sectarian terrorists. Demographic change is being enforced in Pakistan controlled Kashmir to ensure Shia population becomes minority. Lashkars are being used to target Shias. Iran's support can go a long way in allaying fears of our SHia brothers and may even force Pakistani govt's stance of supporting highly sectarian Sunni lashkars.

Oh well, he's on a visit to Pakistan so he has to show some kind of 'support' albeit hollow. He can't obviously say anything to the contrary.

For example, recently during a visit to Kashmir, the Iranian Ambassador sounded more like a broker when instead of recognizing resolution of the Kashmir dispute as means for bringing lasting peace in South-Asian he saw execution of Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline as solution of India-Pakistan disputes!! No word on Kashmir. No hint of any 'support to the Kashmiris'! In his speech said, “The purpose of pipeline was not just to fulfill the needs of these countries but also to help them better mutual relations and resolve their domestic dispute”.

Knowing Kashmir is the core issue between two countries, it could be construed from his speech that Iran has drifted away from its stand on Kashmir and it no more recognizes it as an “international dispute”.

So in India he did not issue any statement in support of Indian stance on Kashmir.
But in Pakistan he has issued an statement on Kashmir.
take it as you wish after all you people are different from the rest of the world and see everything differently (in your favor)

ISLAMABAD: Iran says it will continue supporting people of Kashmir and will be pleased if Pakistan and India seek its help to resolve the issue.

Speaking at meeting of Pakistan Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Iran’s Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif said Tehran’s relations with India would not affect its ties with Islamabad.

“Pakistan-Iran relations are vital,” he said, adding that threat posed by Daesh (IS) was present in Afghanistan, and that Pakistan and Iran need to work jointly to overcome the threat.

Besides expressing Iran’s support for Kashmir, the foreign minister said Tehran will also continue backing people of Palestine.

I think Pakistan should not indulge too much in Iranian love. Iranian are not dependable at least from Pakistan point of view. Also, tell them that they are not required for resolution of Kashmir issue. They will definitely side india!!
