We have more interest vested in Iran to become their ally. Look at KSA, they supported Kashmir insurgency, funded it, but they are investing billions in infrastructure development.

Think about it, if we make Iran and KSA our good trading partners, doesn't it give us diplomatic edge.

Like they say "there are no permanent friends or enemies". International diplomacy is an ever changing process based on the country's needs, circumstances etc. Good diplomacy is to change according to the times & strike the iron when it is hot. If you let your emotions get the better of you, then you will definitely miss the bus & eventually end up as 'pariah' country.

This is just a wee bit of an issue. Five small nations of CAR wont count so much in India's progress. CAR is a non issue here.
The most important parameters for country like India now is friendly relations with USA, and Israel. and in order to do that, Iran must be kept at arms length, unless Indians have any pride.
Iran is a terrorism sponsoring nation, one who is is openly engaged with hamas - The terrorist Org.
In other words, its causing harm to our friend Israel.
And not only that, it has vowed to finish Israel from this earth.
You want mullahcracy - embrace them partner.

You are upset about Iran talking regarding Kashmir... it were only remarks, no actions... politics my friend is not an easy game... Iran have dont little action toward Kashmir (that's my opinion) and Iran only made REMARKS... nothing more.. and about OIC vote.. WHO GIVES A CRAP ABOUT OIC?? lol OIC is nothing but a joke..
so dont be upset about couple of votes in OIC, that no one gives a crap about..

Terrorism sponsoring nation ? Its the only country which showed middle finger to US. Even with all these sanctions, look at their progress.

As for Mullahcracy, you need to read more about Iran. India-Iran relations are diplomatic and trade relations and both keep their views regarding US and Israel separately. Its a bilateral relations. Not a multi-lateral.

BTW India also supports BLA in Pakistan, supported LTTE in Sri Lanka. does it makes us terrorist nation ? These are strategic moves.

India is seeing how Iran can survive the sanctions, Iran has made many achievement ALONE... can India bring down an American drone using only Indian technology? possibly, but it will be non made home technology... India will learn from Iran how to survive sanctions and of course Iran will learn from India...
plus don't worry, USA and Israel will not be upset, because India will be able to sell America Iranian oil hahahah, but for real, India is trying to be neutral, and being neutral mean India will benefit from everyone...
