No but I didn't know what to say. I am in hell those days, I don't have time like before with the new job. In the previos job I used to spend 9 hours at work with 2 hours of actual working while at this one I am working for 7 hrs with 6.5 hrs of real working, as you know my general manager is Indian:cry::cry: as this business is new in Jordan which is Business outsourcing and we don't have but Indians to train us...

Speaks volumes about efficiency gap between two management cultures. haha

AMMAN, Jordan, Nov. 23 (UPI) --
Jordan has rejected Iran's offer to provide it with oil for 30 years in exchange for helping Iran with increased trade and tourism, Jordanian officials said.

Citing official Jordanian sources it did not identify, CNN Arabic reported Friday Jordan sees Iran's offer as "a political deal ... oil for religious tourism and certain political attitudes toward the Syria crisis serve the Iranian position."

Mostafa Mosleh-Zadeh, the Iranian ambassador to Jordan, said Wednesday his nation would supply Jordan with oil and other energy considerations for 30 years in exchange for goods Iran requires and for allowing Shiites to visit religious sites in Jordan.

Several sites of religious significance for Shiite Muslims -- including the tomb of Ja'far ibn Abi Talib, who Shiites believe was the first Imam -- are in Jordan, the Jerusalem Post said.

Jordan has experienced widespread protests following a decision several weeks ago to cut fuel subsidies as well as the loss of financial backing from gulf states including Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia provided Jordan with $1.4 billion at the end of 2011 but has not made a similar payment this year, the report said.

For me, I would love to see Jordan and Iran have warm relations but not under the current regime.

What were the reactions on the news article?

Reaction of who? Both the gov and people rejected it. Absolute NO.

Of those members on that Al Jazeera website, the original link to this article. What was the general mood?

Man this is the third time I say the vast majority of comments from Jordan on the Facebook and news sites rejected it.

I saw some other voices too? People who want Jordan to think about its people for instance.

He is upset because the Jordanian guy on the site is against dealing with Iran in the first place, Iranian regime has a very bad image in Jordan.

They were very few, from the comments I read yesterday on Jordanian pages on Facebook, I can say the majority are against it, they are suspicious maybe.

BLACKEAGLE can you say why it's been rejected,? So basically iran was going to give 30 years oil and in return their citizens get to visit Shia places is that it?? I would accept that straight away that's totally gain unless there's something else.

Visiting the Shia places is not want Iran really wants. Jordan have quite some uranium, and Iran needs a bit of it.
