What's new

Iran mehrab SAM and ASHM.

I don't understand that either ! Its not like Pakistan isn't already seriously foOked and that we're not going to be sanctioned as soon as our utility to the US (..2014) runs out...surely we should engage Iran more ! Both by increasing our trade much, much more and by entering into JVs with each other. If military JVs are problematic either we smartly innovate ways of working around that problem or by simply entering into more Civil JVs....but I don't see any movement on either front !
How about joint military excercises in Balouchestan for start ?

Here in Iran they say alot of the Mojaheds are in France (one of our ''Iranian'' members here ''Hussein'' also lives there lol)
I travel often to Germany and other EU countries but never met Mojaheds. Malom nist to kodom sorakh moushi hastan

the koonies are probably hiding in israel.
I said it before anyone who is pro american regime is a traitor to Iran.

Maybe the fact you have relation with the usa a reason. don't worry if our relation are looking dim right now then it mean the future will be bright.

As much as I'd like that the only solution to Balochistan, in my humble opinion, is a political one ! You don't win over disgruntled people by bombing them...you win by listening ! However Joint Exercises does sound nice...I'd love some Joint-Anti-Piracy Exercise in the Arabian Sea involving some of your vessels, some of ours and some Naval Commandos from either side - You know...we have to smart about this and sell the 'Anti-Piracy' tag to the rest of the world even if its only a tag ! :azn:

Yeah...but considering the fact that Pak-US relations have always (always) been characterized by extreme infidelity by the US...whether it was abandoning us (and imposing sanctions on us) after we got played during the Afghan War, whether it were our wars with India (despite the Defence Pacts) or whether it how they need a scapegoat after joining horns with the Taliban and failing miserably, surely the policy makers in Islamabad can see that the future isn't with the US ! Neutral Relations...fine but our first priority should be fostering better ties with those within our neighbourhood and increasing economic inter-dependence and people to people relations with Iran !

Yaar...can't Pakistan and Iran engage in some under the table JVs ? Surely Pakistan and Iran have both produced some impressive goodies and we, the both of us, can be sneaky little basterds if need be !

You sneaky bastard!! lol
jokes aside
i think in Muslim world Pakistan and Iran are really good in missile tech..I just watched the link PGK posted..its very impressive

Hopefully we see Iran and pakistan make joint militry hardware in the near future.
pakistan needs to protect itself from saudi extremist ideology.
they are the ones exporting terrorism to your country to have shia killed.
what makes me sick is that they join forums like this and deny it

I think it would be unjust to blame Saudis for that because its the Pakistanis themselves doing this sh*t ! I mean I've met a couple of people who are engaging in everything from deliberately distorting Islamic injunctions to engaging in polygamy and selling it as 'Farz' or 'Obligatory' to their existing spouses to shut them up, simply because they couldn't control their loins ! None of them had any love for Saudis or Saudi Arabia !

sure but I am saying they are the ones exporting an ideology to kill innocent people just because they are shia.
it has nothing to do with sunni vi shia.
it is about wahabis giving Islam a bad name.
where do you think all this terrorism came from? saudi arabia is biggest supporter of terrorism in history.

Its just an ideology but it doesn't prescribe the killings that people carry out in its name and if you were to read the original works of Abdul Wahab...the intention was pretty good but what was supposed to be a reassessment of Islamic Values in the light of our time went onto be even more conservative then before ! So if anyone is to blame its the ones who engage in those acts of sheer barbarity whereas the ideology only talks about an ideological difference between Shi'ites and Sunnis. For example, my father, is a self-proclaimed Wahabi but some of our best family friends are Shi'ites and he makes no difference between them or any other Muslim because he consider the Shi'ite view point different but of equal value to Ours ! But then again he is the kind that most Wahabis out there would laugh it because he hasn't a beard, he prays only on Friday and my Mother is a PhD scholar and a working women !

P.S the Biggest Supporter and Instigator of Terrorism in history is - the US of A !

Pakistanic never say anything about shia or sunni. they are very mature Muslims.
the Pakistani taliban however is a different matter.
The problem is the saudi's think they own Islam, because they have the holy Islamic sites.

Ooh my goodness, it was so fast ... good job go on bros ...

It's a copy of the old American RIM-24 Tartar missile:
RIM-24_Tartar_on_USS_Berkeley_%28DDG-15%29_1970.jpg

The General Dynamics RIM-24 Tartar was a medium-range naval surface-to-air missile (SAM), and was among the earliest surface-to-air missiles to equip United States Navy ships. The Tartar was the third of the so-called "3 T's", the three primary SAMs the Navy fielded in the 1960s and 1970s, the others being the RIM-2 Terrier and RIM-8 Talos.
Operational
range 8.7 nmi (RIM-24A)
16 nmi (RIM-24B)
17.5 nmi (RIM-24C)

Yes...and thats something that we must strive to protect ! As it so happens we, the Muslims in the world, are forgetting the humanistic aspect of Islam and incessantly engaging in this d*ck measuring concept of how my Islam is more correct than yours but we must stop this because whereas it may be acceptable amongst the educated where its only ill-effects is the ill-will it generates...amongst the un-educated and easily influenced, blood is spilled ! For example in Gilgit Balistan both Shi'ites and Sunnis are killing each other right now and in the past we've had both Shi'ite and Sunni militant groups creating a lot of problems for the common man !

P.S The only time a Shi'ite has had a problem with me is when I, being the hungry basterd I was, ate the entire pizza at Iftar in Ramadan time, whereas my friend had to wait till the time his Azan was sounded and only a few morsels were left ! :woot: Made me promise to not touch anything but a 'date' when we had Iftar the next time !

My maternal family is shia... my paternal family is sunni... they respect shia....dnt really like wahabbi brand of islam.. me i dnt care.. nor does my father.......... my name is Ali.... i pray however i like.... i do perform matam,we also arrange sabeels(free milk stalls for people during muharam),... Hazrat Ali was an imam..... i do believe what shias say.....but i disagree with both shias and sunnis on some points...... so spiritually im closer to sufism.

All industrial powers started with copies first and then their own versions later. Americans , British and Soviets copied the tanks, V2 rockets, torpedoes from the Germans. Japanese copied auto technology from Europe, China still copies everything and that is how South Korea and Taiwan built their industry. You should be smart enough to understand and copy first.
