I agree with you completely, as soon as this prick Ahmadinejad came we started getting more and more sanctions..the guy needs to be shot in the head.

Exactly, that is the main problem.

Of late, the statements emanating from Iranian government officials have been so confusing that the country is losing allies and credibility at an alarming pace. Only might and missiles and bombs are not the solution. No matter how powerful, every country needs to work through diplomacy as well, and for that it needs allies.

The power of words and diplomacy, is no less than the power of nukes and missiles. If the government walks a balanced line in keeping up with diplomacy, along with its efforts to establish nuclear power plants, then everything will fall in place without the need for any wars that they are so "keen" on.

I personally detest such people in power who talk about wars, because in wars, it is the common soldiers and common people who suffer the most, those in power rarely suffer or lose anything. But well, that is my personal, emotion laden reaction to such statements of these people.

Yes, and you know, very few countries in this world can boast of a strong respectful heritage as Iran. Such things as history and heritage are rarely given importance to in modern world, but the strength of heritage mark the destiny of the nation/region/populace, because they define very important sets of values that make the foundation of a progressive culture. If we look at all the oil rich states in the region, none can boast of such history as Iran.

Iran was always much more respectful country than it is today. And Iran is one of those few countries where not only the natural resources are in abundance, but even the people are motivated to work together in civilized fashion.

Well, it's not that all is lost, Iranian government needs to forge alliance with non-US aligned countries such as China and try to get more innovative in business transactions. For example using goods for goods kind of transactions that can work in spite of all the sanctions in place.

Whatever be it, the regime should recognize the need of the hour - a progressive economy. Because in this world, if you do not have money, you have nothing.

yes, India is friend to both Israel and Iran........
Even though India is Israel's friend.....India has officially criticized Israel's policies many times.
So, just being Israel's friend doesn't mean that India is against Iran and viceversa.

Moreover, there are many benefits of having a neutral common friend....and one of those benefits is that, incase, both these nations go for total annihilation of each other....India could act as a mediator of peace.
