Iran, major powers reach historic nuclear deal

Damn, 5 years is hell of a loooong time .. was expecting Iran to Order Su30 from Russia on urgent basis.

lol man do you know how long it takes for them to make those planes? Iran can probably now buy them and they will deliver them when sanctions are over. 5 years will fly very very fast. By the time they make those planes for us, 5 years is gone.

I have always appreciated your calm personality. You may not have noticed though that the political price of Iran having the bomb (in 5 or 15 years) will be enormous for Turkey, and every other country in the region. The arrogance will increase on their part, and most importantly the Super Powers' probable acceptance of them having a major political role in the region. They, as individuals and government, are unbeatable in turning 180 degrees when the right moment comes.

Iran was a major (the major) actor in the region even with all the sanctions. So how do you reckon that role would only come AFTER sanctions?

Nah mate , it not looong at all .

as a matter of fact , its extremely insignificant . even if we put immediate orders on Russian jets , it takes more than 5 years for the delivery to complete .

we can put our orders now and deliver them at once 5 years from now .

5 years in nothing

Its does not matter at all . let them cry their eyes out .

For all that matters , we know it they know it and all others know it : Its time for the tides to turn in favor of Iran .

A non-sanctioned Iran is a nightmare that no enemy can wake up from . its a goddamn deadly one .

Again , we're coming for them .

Expect us .

That's why you see them burning dadash. They feared us under sanctions? :D What about now?

Do you think that your beloved supreme leader will ever sign such a bullshit that Rajanews is showing?

Off course I will trust the Iranian and American version of the text since the words of these two matter the most.
well, as far as I remember, the previous time everyone was saying American's version of the framework is fake and ignore it, but now...
anyway I posted the link to the text on the Russian's government website, and you are still denying the Rajanews!
this time I post the link to one of European union official websites:
http://eeas.europa.eu/statements-ee...ran_joint-comprehensive-plan-of-action_en.pdf

yet you can keep denying the Rajanews, that's OK. everything starts with denying.

I just hope this deal doesn't damage the military industry momentum that was gained during last decade.

It wont bro. The bits Iran is self sufficient in now will continue to expand. But those sector we need development in, it does not hurt to get transfer of technology to increase rate of development. This is important, especially in the airforce.

I have a request to Iranian members to outline possible economic benefit for Iran with respect to trade and investment( Non Military stuff)...

Anything you can imagine. Here are some hints:

  • Iran is one of the biggest automobile manufacturers. (even in the world. Its production prior to sanctions was just shy of that of Italy) with this deal and US companies gaining permission to invest in Iran, It can easily become one of the top five with cheap energy and resources and vast educated work force.
  • Acting as a trade route, from Persian Gulf to countries on north or from east to west, Iran is the best possible route. With this deal the income from custom will sky rocket.
  • Acting as pipistan. Iran was the best route to get oil from counties on the est side of the Caspian sea to west or other way around. Iran can gain a lot of income by allowing those lines to pass through.
  • Other industries like electronics, aviation, .... The wage of a well educate engineer in Iran is around $2k per month or $24k a year. There is no other nation in the world with such cheap work force and all the necessary infrastructures that has not joined the world economy yet. I can imagine vast investments in Iran for years to come.

Situation is going to get better. That is if US congress does not shoot down this deal.

But to properly fix Iran's economy alot of things have to be done which take a long time. Things like proper taxation system, transparent economic system, work ethics and improving Iran's pathetic productivity. These will take time to improve on, deal or no deal. The important thing is, the people and the state both have realized these problems. Before no body wanted even to acknowledge that problems exist. State was saying everything is paradise in Iran and the people were basically thinking of themselves as angels whose purpose is to be pampered by state. But attitudes are changing now.

One major problem U would probably see is cases of corruption, kick backs & pockets being filled. Iran's economy is untapped at least for the outside world. The biggest challenge for irans politicians would be the management of this sudden economic change. If the ayatollahs & the politicians don't handle it properly the results of this deal would shift the social structure of Iran. The job of ayatollahs ( & perhaps the worries ) have increased ten folds. I hope they ll manage the economy strictly & diligently, not let there be a bonanza. Iran shall first look to get its cash out from western & other banks around, then invest that cash properly in long term projects, avoid a property boom & then look towards FDI. I hope they have recognised fields & sectors where the FDI could be best put to use, it's probable negative impacts looked in to & taken care of.
One major reason of concern would be the revaluation of Iranian currency. All in all the central bankers the economic planners have a tough job ahead, if they fail to manage this deals impacts then this could turn out to be self defeat.

How will the NPT ensure Iran doesn't sprint towards the bomb? I read the deal and it doesn't clearly show how it will extend the break-out time. Anyway, I see a lot of Iranians who seem to think they can go for the bomb now but as Israel recently has said they won't allow this under any circumstance. They explicitly said they would use their nuclear weapons to stop Iran and that would be a disaster.

Israel is a tiny midget who can't do anything. And no, don't worry, Iran won't 'sprint to a bomb'. They'll finally get economic progress now, and everything that comes with it. Why ruin everything they achieved with buiding a nuke? At the end, nobody will use nukes, it's suicide.

U repeat ur hallucinations. There is no mention of arms embargo in the deal. The fact that arms embargo is extended for 5 years does not mean it will be lifted after that.

I hope you can read English properly.

Here's a part from Obama's speech today:

And over the course of the next decade, Iran must abide by the deal before additional sanctions are lifted, including five years for restrictions related to arms and eight years for restrictions related to ballistic missiles.

You are welcome to watch the video of his speech too.

Full text: Obama: ‘It would be irresponsible to walk away from’ Iran nuclear deal - The Washington Post

And it is not mentioned in the text of deal because it will be added to a new resolution adopted by UNSC in 2 months from now. So talk about hallucinations.

Are you retarded or just playing dumb?
The arms restriction will be removed after 5 years and 8 years for ballistic missiles.

Even Obama mentions it at 3:50

Holy molly these zionists are dumb
They can be extended again anytime. And where is partial lift?

Iran does not need to buy anything except fighter planes. Couple hundred Pak-FA should be a must for Iran. Iran also needs to do everything it can to get as much transfer of technology as possible and buy technology related to fighter jet development. Only area we are seriously lacking at the moment is fighter jets.
Fighter plane embargo was imposed on Iran in 2007. So what did Iran but from 1988-2007? 24 junk base model MiG-29, which does not have any EW systems at all. In 2000-2007 Iran did not buy a single fighter jet despite huge oil prices growth. And that was before Syria war.

Couple hundred Pak Fa

Yeah true. Go live in it and stop hiding the Netherlands. You have said it many times in this forum that you have never been to Iran. Obviously, you didn't see much point in doing so. You haven't even thought a short visit is worth it, yeah escape the sarbazi thing. Your nationalistic enthusiasm is a keyboard game you play to kill time.

Congrats to all Iranians, deal was a must therefore it took placed , now Obama as American president gotta stand in congress to defend Iran's right to enrich, R&D and ceasing all nuclear-related sanctions ... how funny it's gonna be ... :pop:
