What's new

Iran kills 1 Pakistani soldier, 3 injured.

Why there is always unprovoked firing against Pakistan?Something is fishy here or you can say Daal mein kuch kala hai...Gop needs to solve these issues for the betterment of the region Asap.
That's because Pakistan harbours and supports Sunni terrorism. End of story!

No, just tell them we have upper hand, which we do. Tell me, what is Iran going to fight with? F-16s and JF-17s can bomb them into submission. The only problem is, just because of this 'peaceful neighbor' non-sense, PAF never established a base near Iran, full time. The main bases are at Shahbaz or Quetta.
Fight Iran? We don't need to fight Iran when we have huge energy projects from that country? Get real! It was Iranian response to cross-border Sunni terrorism from Pakistan!

"The spokesperson further said Iranian border guards on Friday trespassed two kilometers inside Pakistani territory in Nokundi area of Chagai district in Balochistan and harassed residents of the area.

Iranian forces raided the house of a suspected Lashkar-e-Ahb militant in Ghaus Baksh Notezai in a village in the Chagai district and took away a vehicle and some items."

There is lot of confusion at this time. A thorough investigation would determine the facts more clearly

It will turn out to be a minor incident once all the facts are established, I am sure.

there is 2 ways our region can be more stable... 1st if the iranian ppl changed the mulla government themselves or if we just went to war with iran and helped the ppl do that. until then nothing will be stable. iran is americas and israel tool in destabilizing the region.

The Iranians are full of crap, they have an over heightened sense of importance. This is why I don't mind the American's tightening the screws on these Iranians and their nuclear program.
LOL. Read this:

Iran will step in to contain terrorists if Pakistan refuses to take measures in order to secure its borders to keep terrorists from slipping into the Islamic Republic, a senior Iranian military commander says.

“We believe that every country should respect its commitments vis-à-vis its own internal security as well as that of neighboring countries. Border security is a common and pressing need for neighboring countries. We are, in principle, against intervening in the affairs of any country, but if they fail to abide by their obligations we will have [no choice but] to act,” the second-in-command of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Hossein Salami, said on Thursday.

“Terrorists, wherever they may be, even on the soil of neighboring countries, we will find them, and if they do not give up acts of terrorism, we will deal with them without reservation,” the senior commander added.

“One of the prerequisites of establishing security is possessing complete intelligence,” he said, adding that the IRGC has an intimate knowledge of the status of terrorist groups in the region.

“We monitor all activities by terrorists,” Salami said, adding, “Establishing an intelligence control is the best strategy which can contribute to the promotion of security.”

Three Iranian police officers were killed when they, along with other patrol police forces, came under attack by armed bandits while on a mission in the city of Saravan in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan last week.

Another police officer was killed after an explosives-laden car taken to the police station by the same terrorists went off hours after the first incident.

Iranian security forces have apprehended a number of perpetrators behind the recent killings.

Iran and Pakistan signed a security agreement in February 2013, under which both countries are required to cooperate in preventing and combating organized crime, fighting terrorism and countering the activities that pose a threat to the national security of either country.

Iran has repeatedly called on Pakistan to comply with the terms of the agreement.

PressTV - Tehran to act if Islamabad refuses to secure border: Iran general

News from yesterday and now the response. Our illegitimate government cannot compete with Iranian leadership!

RİP to the our pakistani soldiers
Yours? You are not from Pakistan, are you?

LOL. Spoken like a true Wahhabi-terrorism supporter!

untill it actually happens who knows,,,all we can do is speculate...
nevertheless it will be interesting to see how u respond,,,u already shown some restraint by not firing back,,lets see how mature u guys r n how u tackle this.....it will be a nice study of PA behavior
The Iranians have a history (over the last several years) of acting like nutters and crossing the border and/or firing on civilians and Pakistani soldiers.

This is the first time though (and I could be wrong, and welcome corrections) that I have heard someone as senior as the IGFC respond in the manner that Ge. Ejaz Shahid has done. Let's hope that either the Iranians back off or the FC really does retaliate at a time and place of their choosing if another similar event occurs.

What good is an army of loins lead by a chicken?
Same is the situation with Pakistan Armed Forces.
I am pretty sure we don't want the Pakistani Army to be an army of "loins" ...

untill it actually happens who knows,,,all we can do is speculate...
India is considered a major military threat and has major territorial disputes with Pakistan - there is no speculation involved in pointing out that the Pakistani response to any perceived Indian incursion is going to be significantly different from the response to the Iranians. All you have to do is take a look at how quickly the clashes along the LoC escalated.

.
Associations with the Army have no bearing on analyzing this event, given the facts that we currently know (more details could emerge later). Given what we currently know, the FC was not at fault.
'
look around the thread ... you will see info ... we just can not hide our faces like that .. .one man lost his life , not enough for army to retaliate ??
and it has a lot to be those who are associate with army ... if i use harsh language , result will be ban :D

. . . .
Illegitimate Pakistani government badly needed this wake-up call from Iran!

this is not just wake up call ... this is something bigger . if our army has no balls to even give a strong reply to weak army like Iran than why they are roaring like a lion in front of india ?? that mean if tomorrow indian will even invade our country , our army will just keep quite .. and .........................................

. .
There in lies a key problem, for 6 hours Iranian border guards were firing and FC didn't retaliate? Someones head should roll for this.

That is typical why our Troops did not get support from a rescue force ? the same happened 2011 in the Natto attack on our posts, PAF could not send fighter Jets in the sky to scramble the U.S Helicopters and F-15 fighter jets which were bombing our Soldiers. But in the case of India our response time is always very short ! Why so ?

No, it is not enough to escalate the situation into a wider military confrontation with an ostensibly friendly neighbor.

We need to wait and see what the Iranian position is, and whether this will occur again.
