Hold your fire - We can't fight on 3 fronts - lets admit our limitations - bite our anger - wait for an opportunity and strike back when it suits us the most. Iran backstabbed us today, we can follow when it fits our bill!

Its your army that will take the real decision - and they will weigh all options before they decide on any course of action. Pakistani interest would be paramount to them.

Bibi, I believe the govt of Pakistan and PA support those covertly regardless of what they say publicly.

Pakistan has 'partial' control over the targets of the drone strikes after the program was overtaken by CIA and silly nerds from the US services were taken off from the controls to be replaced by those who have a better tactical understanding.

If Iran turns unfriendly toward Pakistan, Pakistan is strong enough to do a regime change in Tehran. Then Pakistan would have more strategic depth especially important against India.

Just so that you know. Pakistan doesn't really give a 'befitting response' to India. Maybe it did long back.

In 2013, India killed almost twice as many Pakistanis as Pakistan did to India.
24 Pakistanis died while 13 Indians died.

In 2014, so far India has killed around 19 Pakistanis while 13 Indians have died. And the skirmish is not over yet.

As you can clearly see, Pakistanis end up losing more men and women on the border than Indians.

And the only reason you hear that our villagers are mass evacuated and moved to safer areas is because our logistical ability is greater and the Govt is more responsive. As the country becomes richer in the future you will find still larger numbers of civilians being evacuated and faster.

The reason is not because of some new earth shattering Pakistani response, but better Indian preparation and funding that comes with a growing economy.

Exercising restraint is the best option given the current situation. We will square it out with Iran when it suits us and they will regret this day.

Those are insurgency wars. Pakistan is armed with Chinese weapons that are far superior to Iran's gear. Look at the Al-Khalid tank. Iran has nothing even close.

Are you kidding....Pakistan just made army and weapons...But war is not won based on large army weapons...One should have enough economic sustainability capacity to continue on war time which Iran has it rather than Pakistan...Being Pakistan's friend...provide good suggestion rather than forcing them for a war....Iran is not attacking Pakistan for sake of attacking Pakistan..rather it is an issue of lack of trust in dealing with militancy....which can be taken care by mutual discussion between both Gov if they are really interested..

The reaction from the Pakistani members is mind blowing!!! from the calls of killing Iranian soldiers to the nuking of Tehran!!!!

As it appears there is a great deal of anti Iranian sentiment and hatred amongst the Pakistani members, I always taught that the majority of Pakistanis held positive view of Iran.

They did, pew surveys say as much but that being said the majority of Pakistanis on this forum hold views opposite to the people on the ground in Pakistan. Case in point most Pakistanis here support one local party in Pakistan and if you go by forum views one would think that is the most popular party in Pakistan but that is totally not the case. However about those pew servey I mentioned, you can basically expect the negative impression of Iran to raise exponentially now. This news is all over Pakistani media and there is nothing that enrages the sentiments of the common Pakistani more than the death of a jawan.
