Iran has worlds largest Helium reserves!

The U.S. has dissolved it's helium reserve, as we use a lot less airships than we used to. It was used as a coolant for rockets, but it's just as easy to make through chemical processes.

I heard it has a lot of military application.

Perhaps in fusion, but it is expensive to maintain stores ( why we got rid of reserves). Maybe leave it in the ground until needed

Looked it up, still seems to have plenty of industrial uses, mainly as a super-coolant.

I know about fusion.
I heard Iran is designing an nuclear fusion reactor. of course if is a non working proto type.

The few anyone has got working so far require more energy than they produce, but someday...

But like I said, still usefull. Never hurts to have resources.
