Iran ‘harrassed’ US aircraft carrier in Strait of Hormuz

200 plus years of history that had a more bigger impact than what you have.
Yes thats true. in this short 200 years US has successfully killed more people than Iran did in 7000 years.

quite an achievement killing millions of people and dropping a nuke or two on innocent people.

the impact has indeed been great.

Advised/threatened the carrier not to come back. Not sure why do that when allowing ships in. Don't you get it? Thats like a bartender telling a customer not to come back or else. You know you back it up with that rule if a customer is doing something wrong at the club or bar?

Then what happened to this:
Trump on Iran ship behavior: 'They will be shot out of the water'

Their history is full of false flags against the other countries from Guantanamo Bay to Vietnam and now in Persian gulf:

Golfe Persique in all franco countries including Québec province, mate!

It is the proper name historically, of which there can be no doubt!
Persia was a legendary nation before Arabs were even invented, mate!

But it still doesn't belong to them alone
which is why it isn't called the Iranian Gulf.

Have a great day, Tay.

.
Is that the name in Iran? In India we call it the Arabian gulf. Sam with Canada.
Nice trolling.

Unless "India" and "Canada" are the names you gave your imaginary friends who "play" doctor with you.

Sad

India is only 67 years old. Before that it was British India and mughal empire. So what you call it doesn't matter because UN and all of countries in the world except GCC call it with its original name which is " Persian gulf ". Since 1960's British formed GCC tried to change its name but except them no one call it A... gulf. Even Saudis called it "khalij al Farsi" before 1960's.

In Wikipedia its an unknown name and refers to Persian gulf.

Arabian Gulf may refer to:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Persian_Gulf

So Indian friend instead of trolling go make some Arabs happy in Canada. Arabs in saudi have enjoyed with many of you that migrated Arabia for working or making money with any possible way....

Well...

there is no arabian gulf. Dont know where this comes from. The name persian gulf comes from the Roman Empire. So this entire debate is a non issue.

As is the claim Iran could attack an american aircraft carrier.

Reading such topics here is always so funny.

What irresponsible commanders? Oh right, you claim the whole entire Persian Gulf, even the waters of other countries. Don't you have disputes on that?

LOL! So many countries do start wars with the U.S. You should know that. 9/11 attacks, Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, North Korea invading South Korea, North Vietnam invading South Vietnam, Japan attacking the U.S. Mexico attack U.S. Germany planning with Mexico to attack the U.S. before intervening in WW1. Even British attacking American ships and impressing American sailors to fight the French. I could go on.

In any case, doesn't matter how much you try to threaten, you know what the U.S. Navy is capable of during the tanker wars. And even when you claim advances in military technology, the U.S. Navy was prepared to fight the Soviet Union with its doctrine to fight carrier strike groups. And we made advances of our own. Don't doubt that one bit.

1st off it's funny how you consider Kuwait, South Korea & Vietnam as US territory! And FYI Saddam ask US for permission to invade Kuwait and the U.S. response was that it's none of our business and they only objected after the invasion happened! Basically it was a trap the U.S. had set up for Saddam.

2ndly Your comparing today's Iran with the Iran of the late 80's while it was engaged in years of war with Iraq! LOL!
During the Tanker Wars not only was Iran at war with Iraq but Iran could barely maintain it's own weapons let alone build new ones! And yet even then Iran didn't back down let alone now!

LOL! Now you making shit up. They didn't say anything about encouraging an invasion or Saddam asked the U.S. to invade Kuwait. Iran backed down tanker wars after U.S. responded to Iranian attack on our ships. And we don't considered them our territory like you do.

Hey you know what we are capable of. You saw the sinking or your warship years ago. Harass is not the same as attacking our warships every time they cross through.

When on earth we attacked your ships that made Trump to threat Iran to shot it ships out of the water? he clearly meant what you call "Harass". and despite your constant nagging and crying about Iranian ships harassing your ships like an 8 years girl you have done nothing to repel them.
And I know what the US is capable of and we've showed we don't care that much about it in fact we've a got a country to defend and we will protect it by all means.

.
There is so much noise coming from Iranians and Mullah apologists here. They better remain quiet. You can't stand a war or even a small military strike by a Super Power. Your intense propaganda won't help you survive. It is not a secrete that Iran's economy is a 3rd world economy and its military is a 3rd world military. Enough said.
just how you can handle your economy without sanctions or the hothists

I didn't say US encouraged Saddam to invade Kuwait! I said Saddam informed the U.S. that it intended on invading Kuwait & the U.S. response to that was that it was "None of our business" and yet it only became their business after Saddam invaded Kuwait!

And U.S. attacked Iran's Navy in 1988 after 8 years of war with Iraq! While Iran was under sanction & weapons embargos by then Iran had less than 20 F-4's, 20 F-5's & 15 F-14's in it's entire Air Force, Less than 1000 Tanks and less than 60 Helicopters operational and financially Iran was broke and could hardly produce any weapons.

So to compare todays Iran with the Iran of 1988 is absurd!
