What's new

Iran fumes as Pakistan embraces a Sunni Islamic Military Alliance

:coffee: Indians just trying to spread anti Iran material on PDF forums what else is new? Indians are certainly such scoundrals

Pakistan Loves our brother iran and similarly has same feeling with other muslim countries

Today Iran did this
Today Iran did that
Tomorrow Iran will do such and such

Listen, Iran is our compatriot and most Pakistanis seek absolutely brotherly ties with our friends at border understand that simple logic

Pakistan has never had anti State policies against any country of world

On a simple note, it's because Indian foreign policy are being run by elected representatives independent from the influence from any government/non-government organization in our country. :)

Baloney... Indian policy is now dictated from temples of Hindutva extremism...

India also has a politically powerful military industrial complex which dictates India's stance on international relations

India is bending over for America. ..
It's faux non-alliance died as Hindutva extremism took over India.

If you wish to think so we don't have any issues. But we will remain non-aligned, yet reap the benefits from all parties involved. Just wait and watch, our diplomacy is entirely different ball game than you can even guess. LOL :p:

The interesting thing is... most Muslim nations expect Pakistan's allegiance but never India's... because they know deep down we as muslim are people who should naturally be in theirs camp... however with Indians they have no such expectations.

Who told you saw ??? LOL :)

The reason why the so called Hindutva majority, with overwhelming mandate had to unilaterally withdraw a decision purely taken on ideological grounds speaks for itself, the power of average Indian and his freedom of expression. Even the ruling majority government had to conceded defeat. :p:

Indian international relations and policies are largely formulated by our MEA after relevant inputs and articulation from other departments including the ministry of defense. Other than that MEA is extensively independent. You won't understand that. :)

As if we are dying to be a military Allie of any Muslim nation. Even we don't remotely expect any such request. LOL :p:

We are more than happy and satisfied with the way we deal with other nations including Muslin majority ones. The day India plans to join and so called Military alliance, I will be the first one to protest, and I bet there will be millions here to oppose the move. :)

There is one big, BIG difference. We have diplomatic and business ties with Iran and Israel, but India is still very much non-aligned like we were back in the 50's, 60's, 70's or 80's. But Pakistan just became part of a major military alliance which is directly/indirectly is intended at Iran and I guess everyone here very well know that. Rest you guy's can say whatever that gives you comfort, the reality ain't gonna change. :p:

As I said demanding more than remaining neutral will cost more, it's the basic of international relationships which anyone with double digit IQ can understand.

i think its not the case now, Pakistan have calm them, once their envoy was publicly speaking against alliance.

When Pakistan can stay neutral in Yemen and Syria then staying neutral in this alliance will not be difficult

Alliance is titled as IMCTC, no where it reads Syria and Yemen.

Senior officials at the foreign ministry said Iran had contacted Pakistan to reconsider its decision of spearheading the Saudi-led military alliance.

Pakistan is not officially part of anti terrorism campaign, hence pressing Pakistani politiicans is futile, but i trust IMCTC is in good hands.

Somebody is got to explain to me what is the mandate for this alliance.

  1. It can't be to take us on; we are the biggest arms supplier
  2. It can't be to take on Isreal because we will get involved - plus again, those weapons are ours
It has to be about Sunni vs. Shia alliance. Which in that case, please carry on-none of our business.

Its the start of a multi state alliance

Intially it may be against "terrorism" but real aim would be to start a multi state military alliance able to defend member states including supply its own weapons

Defend from whom?
Will you fight KSA's war in Yemen. You know how much of advanced weapons the KSA has from us and yet they can't even take on Yemen. Will Pakistan get involved in the Yemeni war? If not, I ask again- what's the mandate here?

Iran fumes?!!! WTF?

Sunni alliance will include us, no doubt. As it seems, the op knows nothing about Muslims, maybe he needs to be reminded that Rashidun (ra) were four caliphs that one of them is first Imam of Shias.

BTW, it'll be great if Pakistan leads them. Iran would join with no doubt only if Pakistan leads the alliance.

There is no way to join an alliance that is being led by Ale-Saud monarchy that stained their hands to Muslim blood of Iraqis, Syrians, Yemenis and Libyans, but as i said, Pakistan leads, then we will join with pleasure
