Iran follows China, expresses concerns over US embassy expansion in Islamabad

Islamabad, Sep.16 (ANI): After China, Iran has also expressed reservations over the massive expansion plans of the US embassy in Islamabad.

Sources said, during his meeting with Jamaat-i-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hussain, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Mashallah Shakiri expressed deep concerns over increasing US involvement in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Shakiri stressed on the need for moderate Islamic forces joining hands against the US to prevent it from succeeding in its objectives.

“Both sides emphasised the need for launching public awareness campaigns by the moderate Islamic forces about the US designs in the region and through the platform of Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC),” The Nation quoted sources, as saying. (ANI)

.
The only who is not concerned is Pakistani Government.

The americans are turning Islamabad into Kabul.

Every one will now beef up their intelligence foot print.

The result will be anarchy.

Yes i was also amazed Iranian official expressed concern while in a meeting with JI????

Strange enough. I think he might be just responding to concern of Mr Munawar

lol its just astonishing how almost every country has a say about almost every internal matter of pakistan..its about time pakistan revists its geostrategic policies and stop being used like a pawn by everyone.

.
Maybe it's time Mr. Zardari should quit his part-time job as PIA pilot and pay attention to the country.

.
Two of Pakistan's friendly neighbors raised the same concern. Pakistan cant ignore the concerns of the only two neighbors that we have no disputes or no major problem with.

Any government official who cares for the best interest of Pakistan would work with our friendly neighbors and correct the problem that is causing the concerns for people of Pakistan and friendly neighbors.

I wonder when these people are going to seperate religion from politics?

it is a violent combination.

Actually, it's a positive development.

They are proposing to shelve their differences and work together for the betterment of the country against the clear and present danger.

We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.
