Iran Builds World's First Missile-Evading Drone

AS it stated in the text clearly the drone enjoys self-destructive capability for dangerous situations which was explained later on in this way:

Akbari Layeq explained that in case of any technical problems during flights, the drone can use a safety system and land in a safe place within 40 minutes and if the place is unknown to the drone, it will automatically disintegrate its parts and destroy them.

On the other hand it's mentioned clearly in the text that:

"The drone can escape thermal and air-to-air missiles"
"Drone is equipped with a deceptive system and can speed up and escape incoming missiles"

That's what "No missile can approach the drone any closer than 250 meters" was meant.

Therefore either you are high or you suffer from a serous, acute and chronic brain damage that makes it unbearable for you to stop trolling 24/7. I think @haman10 as a doctor could consult you and offer you a remedy.

Ok, how can a drone "speed up" enough after a missile, that travels at MACH 4 to MACH 5 speed, is fired on it?

Does this super drone has a jet engine?

I mean come on!!!

Read my quotes. It probably has a solid fuel booster that can be deployed and increase its speed instantly.

chaff.flare launcher holes?

If it can accellerate at an angle (perpendicular) to the incoming missile's vector .... missile speed is less relevant

I think the wings breaks off when the booster comes online. Otherwise it can't significantly increase it's speed with those large wings.

.
Well, solid fuel boosters aren't "deployed" willy nilly.

A drone can't carry a solid stage booster, and even if it could, it would be able to 'handle' the pressure/thrust of a solid stage booster.

Again, unless Iran shows us the demo...the claims make no sense.

U.S makes claims, and then demonstrates those claims to prove its military superiority.

Iran, on the other hand just makes claims.

Go figure.

@gambit need your expertise dude..is it possible?

Also, @Penguin can't jets do that? Also, aren't missiles designed to "follow" an evading target to a certain distance?

How would that increase survivability?

Nobody is trying to convince you about anything. The drone has the same mass of a cruise missile. If the airframe is strong enough then it can handle the stress. Same way the missile can.

This is even funnier than the Iranian stealth jet… :yahoo:

But cruise missiles can't escape air-to-air missiles.

Yeah, if a cruise missile is supersonic...but then that isn't possible with a "drone"...

May be Iran has designed a cruise missile with some control techs (like redirecting it to a different target during its flight) and is name it as a drone.

If the drone 'shoots' left (or 'jumps' up) at the last moment, it may be to impossible for a missile to turn? This is different from e.g. turning. More like firing a retro-rocket on a space module.

I know what you're saying..but this'd be really hard for a drone. It'd need very high-level precision...

"Dodging" a MACH 5 object at last moment is no joke...

.
1- They claim that it can fly up to 8km so no MANPAD can reach this altitude. Ideas?
2- Since it is a small drone is it even possible to detect it by MANPADs?

Nobody is going to use a S-300 missile for a drone. They are more likely to be hit by man pads or smaller missiles that can mostly do Mach 3.

lol....

Israel used missile of Patriot III to shoot down Hezbollah, unarmed, drone.
